admittedly - i had to redo the mounts but in my defense, this was my first set of window anything ever to install, so i am pretty proud that it was only one screw up. they were not super difficult to install at all. not super easy either, and a 2nd person would actually be extremely helpful. i can't really provide any 'tips' that might make it easier. the diirections are clear enough, and easy to follow. i think you want to make sure you understand how to install the blinds onto the mounts before you have to try and doing it hanging. once hung - i also recommend not going crazy with the cord to adjust them. within 4 secods i had it off-track. it's easy enough to get it back on track - you can do it while it's hanging or take it back down open it up and fix it. the whole of it is super manageable but i find it easier to just be extremely slight in the process and avoid having to go through fixing it. i had the pleasure of doing it 2x and now just just take a lot more care. i am happy with these. they provide the right amount of privacy but allow for loads of lights depending on how you position them. they don't really provide any 'darkness' or black-out. these are great for an office or kitchen area where you migh not need a completely dark space. i am pleased with these in my office - i get the right amount of natural light all day. ... show more

This is a awesome blind! I love that it semi darkens a room (teenage room) and I like the look of them over a a store bought cheap blind. My only complaint is I wish it came with a piece to shorten the cord. We cut the cord and had to tape it back together so that is my only complaint.

Nice true to size my windows measure exactly 31 inches. They roll up smooth and the cord does not get stuck. But each rectangular fabric is wider than normal roll-ups. They are not shiny which I like.
