    • I'd give these chairs TEN stars if I could!
I had ordered this chair as a gift for our daughter, because I LOVE, love, love the other four chairs that came a couple weeks ago. PACKAGING: For this order, and as with the other four chairs, I was immediately impressed with the sturdy and appropriate amount of packing material (not too much, not too little). The chair parts were well-protected, and the hardware (the bolts, nuts, screwdriver and little wrench, and the allen wrench) came in a bright red bag, with a red ribbon attached to it -- the end of the red ribbon taped through to the box seam so it is easily visible, and doesn't get lost. EASE OF ASSEMBLY: The chairs are SO easy to put together. The directions are clear and concise, with diagrams. The chair arrives in only a couple pieces (the majority of which are already assembled), so I laid out the chair back (1), the seat/legs (1), the armrests (2) and the back brace (each piece and each bolt size are clearly labeled, and in its own separate bag). It took approximately 10-15 minutes for each chair. My previous order (of the four chairs) took less than an hour to assemble, and look lovely on the patio. COMFORT: The chairs are VERY comfortable (which is a big plus because it's been VERY hard to find outdoor furniture that "fits" my husband (who is 6' 6" and quite thin)). The "king-size" with the comfortable curved back and curved seat (behind the knees) fits him very well, as well as being very sturdy. FLUKE DEFECT: On this chair, however, there were two cracks in the Polywood brace (across the back of the pre-assembled chair back) -- cracks that didn't come from shipping or mishandling, but look like they were assembled at the factory. SERVICE: I immediately called the phone number in the instructions. The customer service person (John) answered the phone on the second ring, and was very pleasant. He asked if I could take photos and text them to his number. About 5-minutes after sending John the photos, he called me back saying that he was sending an entire new chair to me! The new chair should arrive before Friday, and we're looking forward to gifting it! OVERALL: I can't say enough about the product's sturdiness, easy of assembly, beautiful look and feel, really comfortable seat and back, but especially the excellent customer service department! ... show more

WOW- What a joy it was finding these Adirondack chairs. Bought six, have put two together so far. I have to say, these are not only durable (solid heavyish weight), but easy to assemble and in the beautiful outdoor brown. There aren’t that many pieces to assemble, four hands is always easier, and with a compact drill the assembly is quick - you just need a phillips head for two screws and the proper hex head allen wrench bit for the rest. Note: I put my drill on a very light setting (maybe 5-6) mine goes up to 20, to insure I didn’t strip or break the screws. The screw metal is made from that softer and easy to strip metal (like a hybrid between aluminum and steel). Even with the tool they provide you you’ll want to be careful. That said, that’d have to be my only concern. Overall, solid fastening and no screws stripped to where I couldn’t unscrew if I had too. Pay particular attention to the screws inside the seat where someone will sit down, as you do not want to strip one of those and have a shard of metal that could scrape or cut into someone clothing. I might later go get flush screws for that particular, as these have a round head, still, not sore on the eyes though. After assembly I gave them a nice wipe-down with some light all-in-one cleaner to knock the built-up dust off, then their true color showed wonderfully. Just what we were looking for for our outdoor fire pit area! PS, my wife has rods in her back and she loves the support it gives her lower lumbar. I gave them 4*’s because I wouldn’t mind more of a laid back Adirondack but these are easy to get in and out of, and for older individuals these are perfect in height and comfort! We’ve honestly been looking for similar chairs since October ‘20, and they’ve either been twice as much or not as well constructed. Not sure how they’ll look after hurricane season and once they’re hit by sun, but they’re so nice that I almost wish I could have a couple indoors with some nice pillow cushions, haha.     • Super Comfy, Durable, and Attractive
Loved the first one and I now own four! Three by the fire pit and one near the front porch. Takes 10-15 mins to assemble once you have everything unboxed. Very easy. Handles significant weight, too!

Nice and heavy (eg- not too light), easy to assemble, sturdy and substantial, looks and feels like wood. If they have the long term durability they claim to have (only time will tell) these should be the last chairs I need to buy (unless someone steals them) and that would actually make them perfect. A word to the wise... don't assemble them inside planning to then take them outside. That might prove to be more difficult than you thought. I'm adding that for a friend... ;) ... show more

    • Great quality chair, but missing hardware
I put each chair together on my own in less than 30 minutes a piece. The only reason it took a bit was because both chairs I received were short on the hardware. Each box was missing two locknuts and two washers. Luckily I had some at home so I was able to finish the project. But the manufacturer should seriously consider at least providing one extra of each piece of hardware in the box. Once assembled product was super sturdy and very comfortable. ... show more

    • Easy assemble, looks great, waaaay better than other plastics out there
Like the feel - grain almost seems real. Up close you can tell but sitting next to another similar wood chair of similar color, looks wood. Super easy assembly ~ 30 min. No burrs or sanding needed, nicely machined. A bit pricey but wanted to support local company with a quality product - I’ll be looking for Polyteak products in the future! ... show more
