I've been using this stuff for everything. Mounting power strips on the walls, mounting devices to the back of my tv, mounting a vent cover on a baseboard. Using it at work to secure computer equipment in place at workstations. I'm constantly thinking of new uses. And when you want it to come off, it comes off without destroying what it was attached to and it doesn't leave a bunch of residue behind like other double-sided tape. I'm still being cautious (no mounting shelves with breakables on the shelf) but it hasn't let me down yet. Holds strong enough to insert electrical plugs into a child safe power strip and remove them from the strip. Mounts to glass, plastic, countertops, painted wood, etc. This will be my go-to double-sided tape from now on. ... show more

I have only used it to hold down a carpet runner that no other tape has held tight. The other stuff took yards of carpet tape and still didnt hold. It only took a 4" piece on each end to keep the 8' runner in place! Exciting! and soooo helpful as we are in a retirement community and area rugs are so suspect for falls. - No worry now!     • Great multi purpose double sided tape for the right applications

I've used this tape for several years now. It works great on clean smooth indoor surfaces. I have never had any luck on exterior surfaces. It does not stick to brick, concrete, or Vinal siding for more than a couple of weeks. The manufacturer states that it is reuseable, but I have never been able to peel it off of the existing surface without destroying the tape. It is also affected by strong vibrations. I used it to mount a Roku Ultra to the backside of a basement step but found the Roku on the floor a couple of days later. I cleaned the step and reapplied new tape but again it was on the ground a couple of days later. To clarify, I have twin 7 year old grand daughters that sound like a herd of elephants going up and down the steps, I move the Roku to a nearby 2X4 support beam and it is still sticking a month later. I feel this is a must for having it on my work bench for the odd jobs that crop up. Do not use this on painted surfaces or dry wall. ... show more

I ordered this tape by accident so I’m going to be returning it. However, I have purchased it and used it in the past and it is wonderful. It’s very sturdy and strong and it hears to whatever you’re using it for. Please be careful and “do not apply it to painted walls.” I tried to remove it from a painted wall in my kitchen, and it removed part of the drywall also. Came very sell packaged. Make sure to keep the side wraps on when you lay it down as will stick to the counter or where ever you place it. Easy to take off the roll, cut and place where you need it. The other side of the tape backer is also easy to remove. Adhesion is quick and tight so make sure you are placing it where you want :) ... show more

I'd read some reviews about it being difficult to remove, even damaging finishes, but I figured that was a problem for future me because I figured I wouldn't need to unstick the rugs I wanted to stay in place for years. So, part of this is my fault - I still wanted pads underneath my rugs, and I figured the holes in the pads would allow adhesion to both the pad and the rugs, with the tape being so thick and "mushy." About a year later, now, after having to keep fixing my rug placement, I finally removed everything, removed the padding, and stuck down most of my rugs with a different product, but tried again with one particular hand-made rug that doesn't have a firm backing. The key issue is removing the old. It would have been impossible without a heat gun, and even then it was very difficult. Yes, I want the rug to stay in place - but the product advertises how easy it is to remove and reuse. Even with the heat gun, which is a precarious balancing act with not wanting to damage hardwood floors, I could only get the tape up in useless bits that would have been impossible to reuse. So here's the bottom line; if you want something to stick for a long time, this stuff will probably be really great for you. If you're interested in being able to undo things fairly easily, and reuse the product, think again - I do not think this will work well for you. As for my rugs, I mentioned I did try again on one that couldn't use other products, so we'll see how that goes, but on my "normal" rugs we are trying something else. ... show more

I absolutely love this tape and have ordered it multiple times. I use the tape to hold my carpet in place, hang stuff up in the wall and whatever else I can think of. It’s strong and sturdy and will not move which will make you use a little elbow grease to move it so if you plan on using the tape for stuff that you move around a lot then this probably isn’t the tape you want to use. But if you have something that you don’t plan on moving much and you want a tape to keep it in place then this is the tape to use. ... show more

so far it's a cut far above other tapes that are copy cats/"cheaper"...it has held things much better so far than the other kind. & really the "cheap" wasn't that much less $ if at all i mean i got 3 rolls of this
