Whatever amount of this tape you're about to use, it's too much -- unless it's something you never want to come off for the rest of eternity. If you've got a mummy's tomb to seal, this is the tape you want for the job. If there's an earthquake and California is about to fall into the Pacific Ocean, the government had better use this stuff to keep it in place. Had Abraham Lincoln had this tape in 1860, the South would not have been able to secede. This stuff is so strong, it transcends the physical realm. It will keep your relationship together. If your boyfriend is about to leave you, just take this out of the drawer and show it to him. You don't even need to apply it. Its power is so strong he will be unable to leave you.     • Sticks well. But how to get it off? Here's what worked for me

This is the strongest stuff I've ever used to hang photos and frames. I even hung a 30 pound solid wood painting with it. It's like earthquake proof it's so strong. But you may ask yourself, what if you want to remove it? Well, chances are there will be some wall damage. But if you find yourself wanting to prevent a huge catastrophe with massive chunks of outer drywall gone, heed my warning: use goo gone! Test a small part of your wall first to make sure the paint is unaffected. If after 10-20 minutes it's good, go ham! Spray all around where this tape is stuck and let it sit for 20 minutes. Depending on how much you used, it may need sessions. Then get a putty knife and you should be able to peel the frame off the wall. The sticky side will still be on the wall, but with a little patience and more goo gone, you can eventually get it off with much more minimal damage. ... show more

I bought this as a replacement adhesive for hanging my photo squares in frames on the wall. the original adhesive it came with made all of my frames fall off the wall. ever since I replaced it with this, none have fallen and it’s been about two weeks now. would buy again

I mainly got this cause we have the magnetic door stoppers in our bathrooms and the command strips weren’t cutting it anymore. This take a beating with people constantly opening and closing the door which pulls on the magnets to separate. They are still in place. Was super easy to put up and a few times I had to replace it due to my misjudgment of lining up the magnets. Came off easy and clean! I love that you can cut to the size you need. The magnets and hanging cameras didn’t need much but something my husband needed took a longer strip. It’s nice that we can pick how long it is. It can take a beating and holds a lot.     • Works well, but such an annoying tape to work with!

I've had a chance to use this tape across the house for various purposes and it does what it's suppose to do very well I would say. However, it is such an ANNOYING double sided tape to work with! The most annoying aspect of the tape is that it sticks to any surface that you use to cut the tape. The best way to cut it that I've found is the sharpest razor blade that you can find and using the very tip to slice into the tape. God forbid you have to use a scissor to cut the tape, you can forget about having a clean cut. The tape will stick instantly to both sides of the scissor, rendering it unusable until you completely clean the tackiness off the scissor. While I guess it's a testament that the tape will adhere to anything, it is such a pain to work with. Another thing is storing the tape when unused. Why why WHY can't they include either a container or at least a plastic "frame" around the roll of tape to protect the exposed sides of the tape!? The exposed sides are still just as tacky and will stick to any surface you put it down on, like instantly! I literally brought this tape up with me just as I was writing this and placed it down on my desk and it is now stuck to anything it came into contact with! And it's not like it's lightly stuck, it's stuck to where you have to peeeeel them apart. I've had things partially damaged because the sides of the roll of tape were stuck so strongly to the surface that when I pry them apart, it pulled the surface off. Another caveat to pay attention to is how much tape you're actually getting. The image here is slightly misleading, making you think you get a lot of tape for the price. But you don't really do, especially when compared to other brands like Scotch's or Gorilla Tape Mounting tapes. Those are slightly more expensive, but honestly, you probably get more tape than this brand. The center plastic roll is so big that it's diameter is big enough for me to put my fist through, and I have big hands. I used a few big cuts of the tape so far, and I think about half of the roll has already been used. Another thing is that this roll takes a lot of unnecessary space in your drawer, again because the center plastic part is so massive, especially compared to Scotch or Gorilla Tape. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this tape, but I don't think I will buy them again. Too much hassle to work with and takes too much space in my storage, as well as the fact that you don't actually get that much for what you paid for. ... show more
