This is my 3rd mic purchase of this series and I run all 3 without fail. My oldest one is over 5 years old. Then 3 years for the 2nd and now this one. I have other wireless AKG products that are over 20 years old that still work perfectly. Brand new battery, yet started seeing interference with other microphones (AKG wireless mics bands 45a&c, crackling sound). Changing the battery improved things a bit, but did not completely go away. Returned a fourth (unopened) mic I had purchased due to this problem.
