  • Very good for my Guinea Pigs.
Color: Grey
This product is very good for my Guinea Pigs, it's a lot bigger than most normal cages on Amazon and in Pet Stores. I have a list of Pros and Cons below, have a look. PROS Very spacious (you still need to let your piggies or rabbits run around outside of the hutch for exercise.) Overall assembly was pretty easy and I was able to put it all together quickly. The hutch has 3 removable trays that you just take out to clean. The wire mesh on the hutch still works for most of the accessories for my piggies, you may have to stretch it out though. Has 2 floors which adds more space and the second floor has a door that you can close if you need to separate a piggie or separate for other reasons. The door locks are pretty good quality. CONS Very strong smell when you open the box, you absolutely need to open and leave outside for a while if you want to build it inside. Ramp is way to steep and slick for my piggies, I put it down to the lowest I could and wrapped it in rubber shelf liner and it works well. Trays are too shallow, you need to put the absolute smallest layer of seeder down or you can't take the trays out because the seeder will clump at the end of the tray. Gaps between the trays and walls, this leads to seeder getting stuck to the side walls, and pee and poo dripping down to the lower level and the floor. Seeder come flying out of the wire mesh when my piggies run, yep when my piggies run their seeder come flying out of the hutch, best to put plexiglass or something of the like so that stops that issue. Way to dark, it's dark on the top and bottom floors you really can't see your piggies, so I added super cheap led light strips to the top of each section and that helps and looks amazing. Lock for the large section with the ramp is cheap plastic, I just used it for the door on the top floor so I can lock it during cleaning. Conclusion It's not a very bad hutch, but there most definitely are problems that can be fixed really easily without spending a lot more. I do hope that this helps at least a little bit. I will say again, make sure you open the box outside and let it air out, the smell is insane. ... show more

  • What a deal!? Perfect for two 6lb bunnies to sleep at night
Color: Grey
Hubby put this together and alike everyone said, very simple. The trays are perfect and so easy to clean. The design is really as good as it looks. The quality is great, I am shocked by the price considering how fantastic this little house is?! You could not make this for the price. It is a perfect hideaway for our 2 6lb bunnies. We do not lock them in there, they have a pen to run out to 24/7, but they love sleeping and playing around. Highly recommend. I would not recommend keeping a bunny in here 24/7, they need roaming time for sure. I ... show more

  • Damaged pieces, hard to put together but great to look at.
Color: Deep Grey
This took about an hour to put together. Sadly toward the end we noticed the last piece of the roof was busted, have reached out to seller. We are also struggling to install on of the screws as it is at a very awkward angle. We made a few modifications as we are using this for guinea pigs. We did not install the wire flooring. We also did not screw down the lower roof so we could use it as a lid and leave open for both easier cleaning and easier access for getting the piggies out or refilling the water bottle. One modification we may add is plexiglass to the bottom to further protect our floors. Overall it’s a great looking hutch. Not top quality by any means but it really beats the Midwest and c&c cages. Perfect size for 2 boars or possibly up to 3 sows. ... show more

  • Great purchase
Color: Deep Grey
One woman assembly took 45 minutes. Directions are clear and easy. Great quality product. Looks high end. Feels sturdy. Good size. Not sure how difficult the bottom will be to clean out, but there are two opening doors on the bottom for good access at least.

  • Weak wood, not easy to clean!
Color: Deep Grey
If I had rated this when we first got it, I would have probably given it 5 stars for appearance and easy of assembly. It looks very nice and not out of place inside. Now that we have had the cage for over a year, it is absolutely falling apart. Of course rabbits are going to chew and they are messy. The cage has been cleaned regularly, but is difficult to clean, other than the pull out tray. We paid full price for it, plus quite a bit for shipping. At 40 something percent off, like now, I would say it is a fair price, but definitely not worth paying the full cost. It would be a lot easier if it were on wheels or a riser to make it easier to clean. My husband built a riser for it on wheels that has made it a little easier, but 2 people still have to move it off of the base that he built to clean it well. The ramp to get to the top has completely broken away and has had to be re-secured. Our rabbit has chewed most of the slats off that are on the ramp, even with chew toys and other wooden blocks in the cage. I just think it is pricy for what you get. My husband built a much sturdier one and the wood is solid. We spent about $200 for the wood and the cage material, but $200 for this is a bit much for the quality. We had our rabbit outside in the cage my husband built for roughly 3 months before it got too cold. We brought her back inside, so the one ordered was not even used the entire time that we have had our rabbit. ... show more
