I had my heat go out 3 or 4 times over the winter, and this space heater keep my living room toasty! 1200W with 2 modes worked out great, but it is cheaply designed, and the button on the bottom needs a flat surface or it won't power on. Overall it kept my living room warm when I needed it too, and that's what matters. If it had been made of higher quality and had a longer cable I'd rate it a 5/5 based on the value, but because of these I have to give it a 4/5. ... show more

This little heater is PERFECT for under your desk at work! It has a little fan that really blows the hot air, and I can only stand the low setting. High setting is probably good for when it gets much colder, but the low setting is plenty warm for now! Also, the first one that came I had to send back since the fan and the heating element were loose in the little mesh thing and it didn't heat at all so I was disappointed at first, but the replacement came the next day. The automatic turn off if it flips to the side for whatever reason is a great feature, too! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this on sale for 12.99. It's the perfect size for work and puts out a lot of heat. Doesn't make a lot of noise either. The quality is amazing for the price. I can't wait ti be comfortable at work and not freezing anymore.

    • Heats surprisingly well
This heater is not as quite as I'd hoped but the noise level is tolerable, similar to a hair dryer at medium/low. Much louder than the "sound of breathing" like it says in the listing. Had to take away a star for that absolutely egregious statement. In fact, some parts of the description is overstated. It's heating capacity is pretty impressive for it's size. It's size is about that of a 5lb bag of sugar (but much lighter). It can kick heat past 5-6 feet away. I did not notice any difference between high and low modes, in noise level nor heat output. But that assessment is purely unscientific and no measuring equipment involved at all. It does heat up very quickly and very well. I haven't let it run long enough to know for sure, but it could probably heat up a small room eventually. Great, and more than adequate as a space heater. The entire unit, with the exception of the front grill, is plastic. And everything except the front metal grill, stayed cool to the touch while in operation. The safety switch underneath is sensitive, but that's a good thing. As is the length of the power cord (42"), as well as the location of the on/off switch. Definitely designed with safety in mind. At the moment, very satisfied with it. Of course can't speak of durability yet. ... show more

A lot of space heaters are ugly, but this design will compliment most interiors. I use it below my desk and in about 15 minutes it will have heated my small office very well. You get two different strengths but I've only used the low and it's plenty. For safety, I really like that it has a tip over shut off. Just got this for under a desk....in Florida.... The office is cold as ice, don't get me started.... Anyway. Easy to use. Tip over control which is cool because I kick stuff. Heats up quickly for it's size. Makes me comfy and hasn't died on me yet. Going on 6 months now. So. Win for me. Easy to move and keeps my feet toasty. Love it. Worth it. ... show more

    • Many poor design choices make it not too useful
Wish I had researched this more before ordering. It has so many poor design choices, that I doubt we will end up finding any use for it. The only positive things I can say about it are that it is fairly compact and fairly quiet (but by no means "silent"). Poor design aspects: First, to turn unit on, you must get at small rocker switch on rear near bottom, so must basically pick up the unit. Just ridiculous not to have switch on top, where it would be easily accessible. Second, tipover cutoff switch on bottom is so short that the unit will turn on only when placed on a hard surface (not any carpeting). Third, no thermostat, so either off or running. Fourth, extremely short power cord (so even if you wanted to place it somewhere like a desk, the power cord won't reach to a wall outlet). ... show more
