I bought this plus another smaller air purifier to deal with smoking in what is a roughly 1200sf open space with 12 foot ceilings. Not sure how either works separately, but together they work really well. When I initially turned this one on, it was pre-set on the lowest setting. And I could hear it go to a higher setting whenever I lit up and go back to the lesser setting when I stopped. I wasn't a fan of hearing the change, so I put it on a constant higher setting.     • Very Good Product
This air purifier works very well. I only have one and that is that when the filter needs to be changed there is no way to reset the system so that you stop getting the notification on the panel that you need to change the air filter. Other than this, I have no complaints about the system.

this product clearly does what it is claimed to do. my family smokes indoors which normally causes a fog-effect, but as soon as I starting this up, the air appeared much cleaner. it's functionality is pretty simple.

    • Noise? Take off plastic
I read the reviews before purchasing and read a lot about noise. I even listen on the videos.When I saw it went on sale I purchased anyways. Like the reviews it was so loud. So after a couple of days I was curious if the filter looked any different. Well, the filter itself is wrapped in plastic. Once I removed the plastic from the filter the noise was eliminated immediately. It does change settings on its own, but I bought for my office at work, so it does not bother me. I work in a skilled nursing facility with mostly demitia residents. It can get loud around 3 or 4 due to sundowners. So that's why I was unconcerned about the noise. I am happy I did not pay anywhere near the original price. If I had paid full price I would've been very disappointed in my purchase due to the fact that it will switch modes on its own. If I pay $150 for something I expect it to work. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the plastic that the filter was wrapped in was the source of the noise, but I purchased knowing what the reviews said. If you have an issue with the noise, make sure you have removed the plastic. That's really the only reason I wrote the review. Edit: I change my 3 star to 5 stars. This is an awesome little air purifier. So quite when on the lowest setting. The only time I've noticed it only changing settings when on auto, which makes sense. It's changing its settings depending on the air quality around it. I love it and would buy again at the discounted price I bought the first one. ... show more
