This is not my first or last set of airbags. They work great to improve ride and handling with load but don't hurt the ride when unloaded. The rest of my review is about the installation: Plan to spend 4 hours instead of 2 on the install. The instruction booklet that comes in the box is helpful, but
PAY CLOSE ATTENTION! The online video specific to the make and model of your vehicle is even more helpful because it shows things from various angles etc. If you scan the instructions and say ,"I got this", you'll be disassembling. There are carriage-head bolts that have to be installed in long before you need them, or you'll have to disassemble to put them in place. You'll need a set of hex bits that fit a ratchet plus 3/8 and 1/2 inch torque wrenches to hope to tighten the socket head bolts to the torque they recommend. The frame bolts require a lot of torque, and I was sure the hex bit was about to slip before I got them tight enough. The socket head bolts in the airbag itself require surprisingly little torque and could strip the brass threads if over tightened. Not mentioned in the instructions, but I found it much easier to get the air bag in place after I removed the driver's side shock absorber from the axle. The driver's side assembly is tricky to get in place because of all the brake lines in the way, but can be done with enough patience. Passenger side airbag is much easier. Yes, I'd buy again and install again!

Easy Install, perfect fit

very few tools required, instructions are pretty easy to follow, there are a couple times where it took a minute to understand what they were directing you to do, but overall an easy install. Took about 60 minutes start to finish to complete.

Braided cable not long enough

Not sure what the point of having stainless braided air hoses if you still have to go thru rubber ones to connect to the compressor, so it still adds a fail point. They did go in fairly easily.

Don’t forget to bleed after unloading or else your rear end will be bouncy as heck going over speed bumps. I keep them At about 10 psi when not loaded. Matches factory ride until you need to air them up for a load. Decent directions and good videos available.

Great Addition to My Truck

I purchased the Airlift for my F-350. Pulling a large 5th wheel and was trying to level it out when pulling the trailer. I have not road tested under a load but I did connect trailer and was able to lift it up and level it out. I think I am going to be very happy with this purchase. The install is no
t complicated and the instructions were very straightforward. It took me a little extra time but that is just me. Although it took me a little longer, it was not a difficult install. The difficulty of the install is more about just having to work on your back and work up over you in tight spaces. I'm 59 and wear progressive lens glasses so it can be challenging working in tight spots. Once in position, the bolt down is very easy. I found that the easiest way for me to jack the truck up for install was to place jack under trailer receiver hitch and basically just jack up the bed to get necessary clearance for the install. A concrete pad and a creeper are also very helpful. Also, on a customer service note, when I received the Airlift system, one of the airbags was defective. You could hear a part rolling around inside of it. Called Airlift on the phone and they shipped me a replacement out right away no questions asked. A big shout out to Airlift. That is how it is supposed to work!!
