I'm very happy with this purchase. It was less expensive than some, more than others. I liked that it has the option of variable charging amps; at home I can only charge up to 24A, but if I ever have the option of charging on a 50A plug, I can up my charging to 32A so I can take full advantage of the max 27.5A onboard charger. This charger seems very substantially made, a good, thick cable, a long 25' length; solidly built hardware, seems very stout and durable. Easy to use. Works great, have made 10 charges so far and everything has performed smoothly and without problem. I also really appreciate the generous 3 year warranty, unlike other charger options on Amazon. The reviews show very few problems, but the fact that some purchasers have had their issues addressed very quickly and affirmatively is very good to see. The charger is sturdy and well made. 8 gauge wire as required. Nice LED readout and easy setup. Plug and play worked great. It lets the car contol the charge. I installed a 30amp circuit and got an adapter to fit the 14-30R Hubble receptacle. I like the adjustable amperage so I can choose 16, 20, or 24amps. I don't need more since my 2024 Rav4 Prime limits the charging current. I couldn't take advantage of a 40amp circuit anyway but the charger will do it. The mounting case works fine as does the included holster for the gun. Note the custom holster/gun mount that angles the gun downward and out of the way. I contacted customer support a few times before purchasing it and found them very responsive. I have had no problems with this unit. I recommend it. ... show more

Works great to charge my Toyota RAV4 Prime PHEV. My car came with the level 1 charger and would take 10+ hours to recharge. I purchased this level 2 charger, plugged it into a 240v dryer outlet and can now charge in as little as 4hrs. It was easy to setup and automatically detected the charging rate. Has a nice durable charging handle. The mobile app works great to monitor charge rates, power consumption and history. There is also a nice feature to delay charging for off peak charging. I got this because although I have a couple of 110V charging cables for long trips I did not have any 220V cables. I wanted a budget friendly, travel friendly cable and this seemed to fit those requirements. Here is my overall take on the product: I used it on my EVs and it works well. Pros: + long cable + easy to view state of charge on the unit + durable (weather was hot in the 90s and cable was outside but there were no issues) Cons: - only 220V: Downside is this product cannot work at all with 110V outlet even with an adapter. If you want a 110 to 220V charger then I think the cost increases a bit. Overall, I would give this product 4.5/5 ... show more
