Upon the search for frosted window film, I found it incredibly difficult to find adhesive film. Everything else is static and I absolutely hate working with that. This was the only adhesive film this size for my window that I could find on Amazon. I believe it comes from China due to the very long shipping time. Ok, I can deal with that especially for $12. Just need some patience. Finally came in the mail today. I was thrilled to get started! I've done this in the past with more expensive Gila frosted window films, so I knew the steps of wetting the window and using a card to remove any air bubbles. I put the film on the window and starting going at it. So excited! Then I started realizing that all of the creases on the film were not coming out. It came folded up in an envelope which should have been the first red flag. As much as I tried, those creases stayed and I ended up ripping the film as I was going over it. Very frustrated! I went and looked at the rest of the film hoping maybe there would be a section with less creases. Creases everywhere as well as what looked like some coffee grounds underneath the adhesive in a section...which obviously leaves that unusable because that stuff isn't coming off. All in all, if you have been searching high and low for frosted adhesive window film for a regular sized window, bite the bullet and go to Lowe's or Menards to buy the Gila frosted adhesive window film. It's like 3 times more expensive than this stuff but it comes in a roll (they've thought this through) and it will save you so much frustration and disappointment. Wish I would have done that. I never have luck with the static cling window stuff, which is why I bought this. It is easy to install, from experience in previous homes it is also easy to remove, even after being on a window in direct sun 6-8 hours a day for three years. I didn't want to hang curtains in my bedroom, I have really nice wood slat blinds. The previous owners hung them and spaced them a little too far outside the window, causing about an inch gap on the sides so when it is dark out and lights are on you can see in...not ideal. Put this up on the two windows and now don't have to worry about anyone seeing something they shouldn't or don't want to. (My house is on enough of an incline that the bedroom windows can be seen over the fence and from the road.) ... show more

It's complete blackout if properly installed. No light in or out and was really simple to install. Took about 20 minutes and most of that was measuring and washing the windows. Really good product if you're looking for blackout tint that is removable and reusable.

I've used other blackout film in the past and this was the EASIEST product to install out of any window film I've ever used. It's pretty thick which really seems to help the static cling is significantly more staicy than other competing products. I'd highly recommend this product and will buy from this company again if I'm ever in need of more. Please note the product is not shiny so it also doesn't reflect light from indoor lighting. Film does the job with hiding my sons toys from being displayed in our living room built in cabinets. Although it was super hard & a headache to place them on. The film is very sticky so it’s easy to have it attach on itself so I found myself having pull it apart! This was a pain and I wasted a whole panel worth because it would not pull apart! This is the first widow tint I have used that has adhesive. The difference between non adhesive and adhesive is huge. It makes for a seamlessly and much much easier application than any other tint I've used. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I put this on my bathroom windows in a rental. For that they worked. But now I’m moving out and have to remove them (I had a hard time putting them on evenly or otherwise I’d leave them). They are a pain/impossible to get off:(
