This sisal cat toy/scratcher was so easy to put together, I didn’t need to look at the instructions. It conveniently came with an extra screw and a small screwdriver. It is as advertised.

This is nicely made and very pretty, but my cat doesn’t play with it. He won’t even go near it. I’ve tried to get him to by spinning it and he just refuses. If your cat will play with it, it’s a good buy.

Good looking, sturdy and easy to put together. But, even after spraying it with eau d’ catnip, our cats want nothing to do with it. But it’s not an eyesore, so maybe they will warm up to it later.

    • Cat Loves It, Very Sturdy, Yet Not Very Stable
Our cat absolutely loves this little mushroom. She's two and recently adopted and it's always a bit of a puzzle to figure out what a new cat likes and doesn't like. It's definitely refreshing to have something not made completely from plastic. This is helping her finally start to leave our sofa alone. She doesn't play with the ball play portion as much as I would have hoped—she's more of a hunter and fetch player that the type that likes to play with this type of toy. I only wish the base was a bit heavier as she almost tips it over when she scratches it. I'm hoping to see if my neighbor can help me attach it to a heavier base of some kind. Should be easy to do. I would say all in all it's a triple, but no a homerun. Worth it all the same. ... show more

No instructions come in the packaging but if you look at the picture you can pretty much figure out how to put this together! I do wish that there were stoppers on the ball because there's a huge gap between the ball and wooden pieces in the packaging that I received causing it to make a loud noise when being used. ... show more
