I have grown a lot of things in my AeroGarden but this is the first time I have had a problem with the pods. Three of the pods are growing beautiful green lettuce, three of my pods never did anything. I hope Amazon will send me three new pods, cause I understand sometimes seeds don’t germinate. I have bought several of these kits. I do wish the food liquid was less, seem always have too much left over. Sometimes a pod doesn't grow anything so that is annoying but for most part, I love them..I've gotten probably 5 or kits over last couple years

We started with 3 of the 6 pods and they grew perfectly; got lots of lettuce from them. When they died off, we used the 3 remaining pods. Followed directions exactly as we had the first 3 and nothing grew. We did not have any roots, no greenery coming out of top. NOTHING. We added water and the fertilizer as directed for about 4 weeks. About three weeks ago, I 'planted' three out of the six lettuce pods and I'm already harvesting lettuce. They're all growing well and they're fun to plant and grow. They are a bit expensive so I won't be able to replace these often but at least I get to eat some of my crop. :)

Update that Amazon was willing to replace the failed pod and in fact went over and above the expectations. I'm not sure if it was Amazon or the seller (Aerogarden) but complete satisfaction now. Previous review follows: I have used aerogarden for a couple years and they are great though its hard to get a response from them when there is a problem. The greens are delicious taken right off the pod and I do enjoy them. Guaranteed to grow but getting a replacement pod is tough. I just sent an email with photo to the company and no reply. ... show more
