The media could not be loaded. I tend to sit and work in one position all day which can cause a lot of pain and tension in my upper traps. My shoulders and neck is where I tend to hold most of my stress and tension, so when I saw this, I wanted to try it out.. It is, in fact, a DEEP TISSUE massager. It is designed to work out the tension in your trapezius muscle and you'll most likely feel it most in the upper shoulder area at the base of your neck. It does simulate a 'human touch' feel unlike some massages that just give you a 'vibration' and all you really feel is just a buzzing sensation on your neck. This is not that. This neck massager will actually work to give you the feeling of someone massaging your upper shoulders. The strap included is for those who would like to use this 'hands free'. Just strap it under your arms and around the area of your back to secure it to your neck and it will work on it's own. Upon arriving, it will require full charging out of the box for optimal performance, so be prepared to do so when you receive it. It is also important to note that although it does come with a usb charger, it ---does not---include a usb wall charger adapter, so if you want to charge it via wall outlet, be advised that you will need to have one handy. There are safety precautions that come with this neck massager upon arrival ---those being not to wear a necklace while you use it, not to use this while lying down flat or half-lying, not to use it on your legs and to choose the proper massage intensity for --you---based on your requirement. The video that I have attached will show the slow, meticulous way that the massager operates to really work out those knots in your upper neck and shoulders. Again, it's designed for deep tissue massage which can be intense because it's working those tight areas. I had 2 different styles of neck massagers that I can't use anymore because I have arthritis in my hands and carpal tunnel. This one can be used hands free! It took me a minute to get the strap right. I really like that part of it is directly for your neck and the other part hits your shoulders. I carry a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders! This helped both! I didn't feel Iike my shoulders were up around my ears after. Yay! I like that the pressure and heat can be adjusted too. While watching TV, I put it behind my neck for support and also tried putting it on my lower back for support there as it showed. My neck and lower back were grateful! I was skeptical of how effective this little massager was going to be, but it really packs a punch for and has some cool features. I like how you can just tie it on so it leaves your hands free. So far, I love it.
