Features

  • The X-Series wideband UEGO AFR sensor controller gauge (PN 30-0300) features a modern, visually striking faceplate and new seven-segment, center display that is 87% larger than the 30-4110 AEM
  • The gauge includes a 0-5v and RS232 Serial Port output for feedback control and data logging, and an AEMnet (CANbus) output for data logging
  • X-Digital wideband technology gives these controllers the ability to read and report values that other controllers do not, which can deliver more optimized engine tuning and a safer overall operating condition
  • Faster response time improves wideband feedback control, and can provide a safer, more powerful and accurate tune
  • When tuning an engine using wideband AFR feedback control on an inertia dyno, dead time affects the data you are looking at because it is reported in a different operating location than when it actually occurred

  • Accurate
Very accurate, and is the best thing I have bought for a carbureted engine. Very easy to read, and has been going strong for over a year now. No complaints.

  • Easy Install
Super easy. Red to your accessory 12v and black to ground. Route your sensor and Bob's your uncle! I need a pod to put it in now

  • Permanent install is time consuming
Once integrated with the 95 mustang GT I confirmed that the car was running lean. Chasing the perfect stoich now. Trying to keep my eyes on the road instead of the gauge at WOT is difficult. I find myself wanting to watch the gauge a lot. Drill 7/8" hole for bung and used dremell to cut two curves into the recessed side of the exhaust bung for better fitment. MAKE SURE THE WELD HAS GOOD PENETRATION and doesn't have any pinhole leaks or you WILL see false lean conditions. It can easily be used on many different vehicles or installed permanently. ... show more

  • Good wideband, good customer service.
As promised, I'm updating this review based on the customer service experience. I installed this to replace a dying old 14point7 gauge and it was DOA. It just read "SEnS" when I powered it up, despite having good wiring continuity. I emailed AEM with a specific description of the issue and they had me call and arrange for a replacement, there was no hassle and the customer service people were friendly. When all was said and done, I put the new one in with the already-installed wiring and it works fine. I like the responsiveness of its output for tuning and the sweeping LED part of the display is useful for visualizing transients like acceleration enrichment when you don't have your laptop hooked up. The only negative about this unit is that the bezel is thick compared to most other wideband gauges, and based on the form factor of the actual gauge part the size of this part is pretty excessive. It's also gloss black, which doesn't match the satin/matte black of most interiors and gauge bezels, but I just had to remove the bezel and paint it to rectify this. Tip: don't go through all of the hassle of running the wires and stuff until you bench test it out of the box. That way you know it's functioning before spending a few hours fighting with grommets and taking interior parts out to run wires cleanly. ... show more
