    • Good blender for only ~$80, but NOT worth full price!!
I got tired of chewing my smoothies from my old Ninja not blending well, but wasn’t quite ready to buy a Vitamix. Happened to come across this one for supposedly ~80-something % off, making it about ~$80. I’ve had it for a few days now and will say it’s a decent blender but a few things to note: CONS: (1) The Amazon seller falsely advertises this blender for some ridiculous price (think Vitamix prices). I refused to pay that so snagged it on sale. The brand website price is $159.99, so I don’t know where the significant price difference is coming from. (2) The base seems solid enough, but the blender container, lid, and plunger are very cheapy (lightweight, plasticky). The lid snaps down to lock it in place and the creases where the plastic bends is already turning opaque (the way plastic does when it’s weakening and going to eventually break). (3) When on the “juice” setting, the blender cycles through different speeds. When it goes from very low straight to high speed, the blender container literally jumps (all you do is set the blender on the base as there is no mechanism to lock it in place). It jumps to the point where I’m pretty sure it would fall off so you have to stand there and hold it down for the 3-min cycle. PROS: (1) Glad I didn’t pay hundreds of dollars, otherwise I’d be unhappy and returning it. (2) Blends wonderfully! Was shocked how much better my smoothies were when they were actually SMOOTH and not all junky! LOL! (3) Complimentary 2-year warranty from the manufacturer. I signed up but haven’t had to use it yet so can’t speak to their customer service at this time. Hope this helps! Happy blending! ... show more

So I’m in love with this thing. I’ve had the standard blenders you can buy in Walmart, but this one surpassed my expectations. It has a couple settings that are automatic: juice and smoothies, which is fantastic. It’s also pretty durable, and I love that I’ll be able to make soups with it as well. It also comes with a 2-year warranty which is really nice. The lid locks in place, and it has a gasket around it making it water tight. It also comes with a tamper. The blades are cool too because it isn’t your standard X blades, there are multiple, making it easier to blend. MY ONLY COMPLAINT: I’m super in to organization, so one of the things I appreciate SO much, is some sort of cord storage function so I don’t have a bunch of cords tangled in my cabinet like one of those infomercials. The bottom of the blender has a perfect spot for cord storage, but that’s not its intended use. If there were some sort of clamp or plastic prongs there, this blender would be perfect. ... show more

I can’t believe how powerful this blender is. It does such a great job, I love that it stops momentary during blending to let the product settle so it blends evenly.
