I just received the cover today. I Purchased the 18' wide, and it fits our Sunsetter awning perfectly. Once I figured out the best way to tie it up it went on pretty easy. If the straps were staggered from the opposite side, it would work better, the straps are plenty long to wrap around and tie, so I just used one strap at a time. It worked good except close to the ends I needed bungee straps because I'm trying to keep the birds out. All in all, I think it's going to work well. Review for Advaning protective cover. I would recommend purchasing - well worth the price. I ordered two 10' beige covers in Sept. 2021 and installed them soon after. I kept them on throughout the winter, removed this June (2022) They held up really well through a cold, rainy Seattle winter where temps were below freezing off and on, getting as low as the mid to high teens for a week at a time. Note: When installing, you do have to take time to properly cover/wrap them so water will shed off and won't pool inside them - well worth the little extra effort. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that, with only two ties (and those towards the middle) I had to add additional ties on the ends in the form of 1" wide velcro, cut into 24" lengths. ... show more

I bought this to keep birds from nesting in our awning. I usually stuff all the gaps with plastic bags but needed a better alternative so I bought this cover. Love it. Exactly what I expected. The largest size (192”) fits out 16 foot awning perfectly. The straps are extra long and we ended up wrapping them around the awning a couple times and then tying. Worked great. Did have to use extra bungee cords on the ends but only for our bird problem. (Also the reason for the black netting above awning in the pictures.) There are loop straps on the ends so possibly the straps could go through that instead of using the bungee cord. It looks great even using it the way we did. We put it up in late February in Ohio but the weather has been extremely mild so haven’t been through full winter weather. It’s been extremely windy and it has held on very well. Seems to be very durable, product has 3 straps to tie the cover down. Just wish the straps were spread out further apart and closer to the ends. I just needed to tie the ends down with rope.

This is well made, heavy duty but not designed for protecting an awning attached directly to the RV/vehicle. There is now way to tie down the cover to the awning. I tried heavy duty 6 inch steal clips with no success. The return process was no problem. I am bummed it didn't work, looked like a nice product that would stand up against the Sun's UVs for at least a couple years. Rather replace it than a $800.00 Roll out awning that's only going to last a season. ... show more
