I am overweight and 5' 7" (working hard to lose lbs.) and I needed something very sturdy to use in my master bath, so I could sit while I dried/styled my hair and on days I wear makeup. I have a bad back, so unable to stand for long periods. I can roll from middle of the vanity to the sink to wash my hands & face or brush my teeth. This is not only very sturdy and well made, but so comfortable. The quality is much better than really expensive stools sold on medical supply sites. I also take it to the kitchen when I need to chop and cut for meal prep. I can raise it up to counter height. Love the height adjustments. I can't say enough good about this because it has made my life so much easier. Plus, it took less than 5 minutes to put it together after I unwrapped the packaging (unpacking took longer than it did to put it together!!) I also used it on my back patio so I could sit while adding fall plants to my large planters. I use this chair almost daily for 1/2 h up to 2 h. I have a small sturdy table that is the right height for me to use for cutting veggies or prep food while sitting down. (Kitchen table and chairs are too high for me to work comfortably for any length of time). I bought this chair specifically to use with my smaller food prep table. It’s a perfect and comfortable fit. The chair is small and doesn’t take up much space, it just rolls off to the side in a jiffy. Easy to assemble, though the instructions are minimalist at best. The only flimsy part is the cosmetic ring, which has nothing to do with human cosmetics, rather it conceals the massive welds connecting the legs with the stalk. Once assembled, it’s really sturdy and comfortable. The small lip on the seat prevents you from slouching, which is a good thing.
