Comfortable, good quality chairs. The instructions were not very helpful. I would recommend labeling the hardware in the package so you don't have to second guess if it's the right screw/bolt. We really like these chairs! The adjustable back and the self storing leg rest. They are quite sturdy and the weight adds to that but they will not blow in the wind. One word of caution. The instructions refer to a chain and pictures on the box shows them, but they have an improved method, and at first I thought the chain attachments were missing. Contacting the vendor and it was explained that the chain system didn't work well and the ones we received were the improved model. The instructions are a little hard to follow but in no way a reason not to purchase them. Love these chairs, but the instructions were horrible and the front horizontal decorative piece did not fit in the space designated for it. I had to have a friend come over and help me build them. The material is great and they are sturdy super comfortable!

These adjustable Adirondack chairs are well designed and made, and we are quite happy with our purchase. I agree with others that the only upgrade needed is the instructions. While the parts are clearly marked, the instructions misidentified one item as part A which is really part H, which greatly slows down assembly of the first chair until you figure out that typo. These are very high quality & heavy duty. I wanted the chairs to be heavy as we live on a small lake & often times a strong wind will blow any chair into the water. These are just the trick. I also think the heavy weight makes they less likely to be stolen as it would be hard to carry them for a long distance. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was I had an issue with the placement of the side table brackets. Both chairs had the side table set in a position that would prevent the chair from reclining due to the brackets blocking the pin tracks. I had to reposition the brackets to allow the pins to slid in tracks. The new position place the table in a similar location as the the illustration on the box cover. (see attached photos) There were also a few holes that weren't fully drilled that I needed to drill the rest of the way through. Overall they were fairly easy to assemble assuming you have some skill & additional basic tools. I plan to buy two more of these for my dock. ... show more
