The one I got makes small cakes. I didn't realize there were different sizes. It works great but must be on a sturdy surface. The wire bends a little at times but seems to be sturdy. Easy to use. Id say a 9 out of 10...only because the wire bending makes me feel its going to break.

My daughter loves this for her crochet yarn. The only struggle so finding somewhere to attach it in her room. Nothing has a deep enough edge. She has to use the kitchen counter which can be a hassle. Works great no snags.

I hate tangled yarn and I was so excited to get a yarn winder! This works like it’s supposed to but feels a little wonky. Maybe I need to tighten it with a piece of cloth under it like some suggested. I had a vision of tightly wound yarn balls but the yarn is wound like a yarn cake, I guess this is okay? The yarn spinner works great. The yarn guide is a waste of money - don’t bother. It’s easier to use your fingers. The yarn winder works extremely well but you’re limited to the size of the ball of yarn spun because the wire is not adjustable and the arm is not as large as others.
