I bought this for my Steam Deck and attempted to clone the original 256GB SSD. I don't suggest trying to clone the original drive unless you are really familiar with linux. as I am not after a short period I gave up and got an image and restored SteamOS then went and set it up and the results are decent. pros easy to install fairly fast lots of space cons none so far overall after the initial attempts to clone from the other SSD I have had great success would I recommend this? absolutely yes. it works great in the Steam Deck. ... show more

I'd never heard of this Taiwanese company before, but like other reviewers I gave their product a shot only because of its excellent reviews. I'm glad I did. Since I based my purchase on these reviewers' advice, let me add mine. I purchased the 1TB version and it arrived in a box with the M.2 SSD only. It does NOT come with an M.2 screw, so make sure you have one that came with your motherboard (or purchase one on Amazon). With a screw, the card installed very quickly and easily. As a warning, this SSD does not come with migration or cloning software, and as far as I can tell addlink does not offer this type of software as a free (or even paid) download. So if you're replacing an existing hard drive or SSD, and want to migrate your Windows installation and files to the addlink SSD, you'll need software like Acronis True Image. Other SSD companies like Crucial come with a free downloadable version. If you're doing a fresh OS install, you're good to go. Once installed with my Windows 10 Pro installation cloned, I got far better speeds than my old SATA SSD. addlink states you should expect 3400/3000MB/s read/write speeds, but I got above that, 3453/3229, with an Intel i7-9700K with 16GB of DDR4 3000 RAM. Windows boots in about 5 seconds. Everything is zippy and feels really next-level fast. I can't speak to this SSD's longevity, but it's rated at 1200 Terabytes written, an MTFB (mean/average time between failures) of 1.8 million hours, and comes with a 5 year warranty. If you're looking for a lot of blazing fast storage at a great price, it's hard to see how you could go wrong. Highly recommended. ... show more

This ssd isnt made of cheap material. Jelly good speed for 9th/10th gen intel systems and/or ryzen builds with a320/a520/b450/x470/b550 board. Of course, better have two drives, this for data/archive/movies/games the other wether sata or nvme for OS and apps.

Shipped all the way to South Africa because, for some reason, 2TB 3320's aren't available here yet. What a shame! I specifically went for this drive since it has a high read and write speed of around 4K (RND4K Q32T1) with an average of 900MB, placing it in the same league as some the top-performing 3380 drives. With an average of 5100MB/s read and 3874MB/s write, it's more than enough because I am not going to copy files all the time, nor do any video editing or processing. Yes, it costs 2x more than just getting a 3380 and an adapter, but I'd rather play it safe and stick to the manufacturer's intended specs. Plus, I paid $150 less than if I were to get it locally through a retail outlet, so it's a win in my book. I'm busy installing games like crazy and haven't even hit 800GB yet. The included 5-year warranty and 450TB of written endurance capacity are more than enough for some proper peace of mind. ... show more

I am pretty impressed with this Drive. I installed this drive into my Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 and it works like a dream. Read a write speeds are comatable to the western digital drive which came in my computer. This is a good buy for the money.

This is the second time I've bought this drive, as we just picked up a 2nd Steam Deck (got a refurb from Steam on sale). Easy to install, and it really completes the Deck... you go from barely any storage to having plenty for your games.
