My first impression after receiving the product was that it was larger than I expected. I grew concerned that it would wear uncomfortably, but after wearing it for a few hours, I noticed that the larger size was a benefit. The length of the brace provided more lateral support above and below my knee, while the multiple horizontal velcro straps provided a secure hug around the patella. Of course you can adjust the fit to you liking, but I was able to wear it around during the day without too much discomfort. If there was something it can improve on, it would be the interior padding behind the knee. There is not enough behind the knee, so deep knee bends can feel obtrusive as the material clumps together. ... show more

The brace itself seems really well made with quality materials and stitching, so I really wanted it to work for me. I have a torn meniscus and use a larger brace to play sports and was hoping this smaller one would work for ping pong and to wear under pants. The problem for me is when I pull it tight the inner hinge rubs on my knee and causes pain. There isn't a lot of padding under the hinge. I tried it looser, but that didn't give me enough support. Sizing seems accurate. It has metal bars on either side of the knee, but it didn't seem to fit me correctly or provide noticeable stabilization. It doesn't feel at all secure compared to 3x more expensive braces I've used, (which is admittedly not surprising). The velcro is less substantive. I'm not even confident it would help people who need less support. This might be on par with a similarly priced brace you'd buy at a drugstore or big box store. ... show more

This is a good brace. It’s supportive and relatively comfortable. The only problem is it gets hot while wearing it. It does works well and doesn’t slip down. All in all it’s a good brace and I’d recommend it to anybody looking for a medium support knee brace.
