I have used Fungasol for several years and extensively this year. I have two horses with different types of pastern dermatitis. After applying once a day (following instructions for washing and drying first) for six weeks I am seeing real progress in softening the "crud" and change of color. My understanding is that this length of treatment is not unusual and I am now much encouraged. I use the salve because I feel it might smother the organisms better than the handier spray. I love Fungasol! It works great, no parasites or fly larva in the infected area. It cleared up rain rot on two colts. I use this product in conjunction with Fungasol shampoo, and spray! Give it a try, you were not be disappointed.

    • Anti Bacterial and anti fungal, great for mud fever/scratches, cleared it right up
Worked great! I bought a sweet mare who had really, really bad case of scratches that went from fetlock to knees. Really pleased with it when the home remedies weren't fazing it and it was so painful for her. This treats bacterial and fungal and cleared her up within a couple weeks.

I been dealing with this horrible, horrible, horrible jock itch on my thighs for years. Omg, I just found out to use yeast infection cream on it but this takes about 3-7 days and stops the itching. This stuff is the best because it's greasy and heals quickly. It's sad they make it for animals and us humans suffer. But I tried it had no other choice done been to Dr several times and spent alot of money with over the counter creams. They are a waste of money. ... show more

Bought for scratches on my mare. Her fungus started to improve over a couple of weeks, but by week three it started to sting/burn her skin and she became difficult to deal with... By week four scratches stopped responding and just exploded across her legs. I switched products.
