Very quiet while freezing, beeps several times when finished. Ordered this and it came quickly... damaged. Return was accepted and replacement was on my porch in two days! Great service. Now on to the ice cream. Vanilla was great, root beer flavored was even better. Banana/orange was next. So many different ways to have the flavors you want. All of these are done in less than one hour. No need to pre-freeze anything. Just add ingredients and press start. It has other functions, such as stirring and cooling. So far, best product for our kitchen counter. I have family that has other forms of ice cream makers. The only issue, you have to freeze the container before making it. If it warms up too much before it’s frozen, then it’s soft serve at best. This ice cream maker, has its own internal freezer unit, meaning you will get ice cream! I love it. Made some chocolate ice cream this afternoon. Works extremely well. Great value, very quiet. I was wanting to make home-made ice cream for my grandkids but without the hassle of turning it manually. Looked at several options and decided on the AAOBOSI 2.2 Quart Ice Cream Maker. It is a heavy machine and does take up some counter space, but it does its job well. When the ice cream gets frozen to a certain point, it no longer goes through the paddle, but spins with the paddle. No complaint, just letting you know. It doesn't make a lot of ice cream at a time, just 1.5 qts. If you can judge your mixture properly. I knew this going in. But I like that I can make a few batches of different flavors fairly quickly. Unit is really great. Purchased july 3rd 2024 and lid will not stay in locked position while making ice cream. Have to keep twisting it to locked position but after a few seconds it comes out of locked position. If you don’t turn it back to lock position it will just keep moving towards unlocked position and will raise iff paddle. Guess I will have to try taping it locked. ... show more
