The media could not be loaded. I created a video to show and answer a few questions that I had before purchasing these warm white lights. 1. Each box comes with its own UL adapter. These lights cannot plug into and connect with other standard strands of lights, but are perfectly capable to connect with multiples of the same item. It is very easy to use as shown, and there are caps to cover, protect, and keep the connection points together. Also, you have the option to disconnect the ‘lead’ part of your plug in off. This line is the extension part of the light strand that does not have lights on it. The value in removing it is to have more continuous lights in a row )if you plug in another set) instead of having to tuck the lead part into the tree or try to hide it. 2. None of my 5 boxes came with a remote control, but I am not bothered by that in the least. The button on the adapter is perfect for me. The one button that is provided on the adapter has multiple functions. It allows you to change to 8 different lighting modes. (Combination, inwaves, sequential, slo-glo, chasing/flash, slow fade, twinkle flash, and steady on). The button also allows you to set a timer if you hold it for 3 seconds. Your lights will remain on for 6 hours, and be off for 18. And the microchip in the adapter will automatically repeat the process for as long as you have it plugged in. This is a set it and forget it style. Nice! 3. The light strand is very thin, and I cannot speak to durability since I just purchased them, but visually, the lights are aesthetically pleasing and I know that a lot of us are into that look and feeling. 4. I saw other reviews sharing that the warm tone looks very yellow. That is not at all how it appears with any of the 5 boxes that I received. They appear very close to what is in the video attached. I am using them outside on a tree to help the festive feels and I look forward to the warmth and joy it brings. When you put it into the Combination mode you get the most interesting effects. We very enjoy watching them at night. We have the lights strung on an artificial tree in our back yard where we can see it from our 4-season porch. We also attached the cord to a light sensing outlet so that the lights come on at dusk and turn off at dawn. One thing to consider: Squirrels like to chew into the electrical wiring, for some reason. I have had to repair numerous breaks. It helps to use a squirrel deterrent spray, but you need to use it often enough that the evil spray continues to be effective. This is NOT the fault of the light string; rather it's a wildlife problem. We use a spray that contains garlic (Squirrel Scoot is one brand, but there are other similar products) and it lasts quite awhile, but usually not through a heavy rain. ... show more

Bought this to decorate our fence for Christmas and decided to leave them up permanently because they were so pretty. We did keep them on 24/7 so I'm sure that had something to do with it, but the lights burned out after only 6 months. They were cheap enough that I knew they weren't going to last forever but I expected at least a year out of them. ... show more
