I'm no mathematician, and the "2.5 mil/3 mil" etc. designations confuse me except that bigger would seem to be thicker. I'm not certain of the designation of these bags, but they are FAR, FAR thicker than anything I've ordered before. I've piled all sorts of trash in them (branches/sticks, construction debris, etc.) and never once has anything poked a hole in these bags.
