    The supplier Mishon is a good source for a reasonable priced 8Ten chain. They deliver. I am gung ho for the durable 8Ten chain because it doesn't stretch beyond use on gas driven chain saws, and because I can sharpen it multiple times for extended service life. It boils down to steel quality and I suppose, heat treatment. A sharp chain cuts fast. If it slows, snags, or drifts, dress it with a good file. I run a half dozen saws of all sizes on oak.       • Bang for the buck, it's hard to go wrong.
    Got these due to a Project Farm review & I think he was spot on. These seem to work just as good as the Oregon blades I've used in the past. I've also had good luck with the NeoTech blades and bars. I made 23 nearly full bar passes thru a dead hickory tree with a Husky 372 with no noticeable slowing of the cutting speed. I'm a total armature so take it for what it is worth. Hopefully they sharpen good, but I'm just learning that now so I can't comment on it yet. ... show more

    I am very impressed with these chains. They were used on commercial grade saws that see rigorous cutting. I have used several brands of aftermarket chains and these are by far the best I have used. They perform every bit as good and last as long as the name brand units at a fraction of the cost.
