I purchased this subwoofer and amplifier combination to install under the front passenger seat of my Ford Maverick truck. Unfortunately, the unit proved to be too large for installing there. That required that I fabricate a solid mount for the subwoofer on the cab’s rear wall behind the rear seat. That was not a major challenge but it did delay the complete installation. This represented a first audio upgrade I have attempted on any vehicle I have owned. Therefore, I found the minimal instructions included in the package frustrating. Other than a diagram calling out the units connections and adjustments by name and a wiring diagram for the high and low methods of wiring the subwoofer. there is not much there. Clearly, there was not enough there for a novice like myself to understand the difference in the wiring modes or what I can expect from playing with the adjustments or how best to tap into the OEM speakers. The unit is now in, but I’m somewhat at a loss in writing my review. All the appropriate lights come on. I can appreciate that I have a far greater range of volume than I had without, but had expected something different from the bass tones. Using the attached bass volume control, I’m not sure I recognize an appreciable difference between max and min. I don’t observe the 10” speaker vibrating as I expected. I have checked every connection and can find no fauty connections. I have asked the friend of a relative with experience installing several vehicle auto systems to check my work and give me his opinion. I’ll return to this review following his appraisal. ... show more

I love this little powered subwoofer because it sounds great right out of the box! I didn't have to mess with any settings or worry about it getting the right amount of power because the amp is built in directly with it. I put it in my trunk and cranked it up and it sounds just like my old 12 inch sub but with less rattle. The entire thing is metal and feels super strong and has a good weight too it. No part of the woofer itself feels cheap. The power wire on the other hand does feel kind of cheap and it's not long enough to run very far. It's nice that it's included though and saves me from having to cut my own wire. It does need to be stripped at the ends and the coating doesn't strip very easily. However the overall installion is very simple and it works great! I can't figure out a way to disable the light though. It is very cool to have it flashing to the beat but having it in my trunk it's too distracting and so I had to throw a towel over it. I think that's a major flaw of it but not a huge deal. The RCA that was included also is very sturdy and strong and great quality, much better than what I had on hand. I highly recommend this subwoofer over using your own amp and sub because it saves lots of space for very good quality audio. ... show more

It was very good and it was easy to connect. It was a QR code telling you on how to wire the subs I like the light that it projects and overall it’s good and I still use it to this day.
