Update: I love the design on this coop. Perfect for the space I have. While the hardware, needed replacing, the customer service was fantastic! Super happy! I appreciate the design on this small coop which I intend to use for broody hens and baby chicks. The materials and hardware are inferior and won't last long. I needed in a hurry to house some hens in an urgent situation, so it will do temporarily, but I will have to replace. ... show more

I ended up returning this for a full refund (fun trying to get it to fit back in the box). There are no pre-drilled holes and the parts were missing the identification labels. Photo's of the assembly showed very limited detail so you could not even tell which piece was which. Screw bags were also not labelled. Very cheaply made. Pieces of the roof were coming apart before I even touched them. In fact this is the most cheaply made item I have ever bought from Amazon. Very disappointed in this product. ... show more

The photos are misleading, as are some of the reviews... especially the one that says she has 3 hens in it. I bought this to quarantine (3) 4 month old hens. They are half the size of a full grown hen and it is NOT comfortable for them. I had to buy an extender from another brand. This coop would be ideal for brooding chicks, a ONE hen hospital or for a broody hen with chicks. Anything temporary but definitely not a permanent home. Quality is mediocre which I knew from the price. Assembly wasn't too hard but the directions could be a lot better. ... show more

It was easy to put together. Design is good, The actual roosting house is kind of small. I have 3hens and it's perfect for them. Would hold four at most. But, overall happy with the coup. I sleep better and the hens sleep better, knowing they are safe at night.
