I’ve been installing radios for over 15 years and this one works great. Apple car play works right every time I get in. I can speak to text like in my newer vehicle. I installed this in my 96 Silverado 1500. The new bezel I ordered wasn’t cut exactly to fit the screen but that was an easy fix. I also really like that the gps tracks your speed and displays it on the Home Screen as a default. Overall great radio for the money!!! ... show more

Recommended. Was on sale which helped. So many radios to choose without knowing the screenshots and features. Please review and make sure it meets your needs before 30days. Son driving our 2004 Expedition. He needs more than AM/FM and wanted Apple CarPlay. Now he has his music, phone and Maps. Installation was simple enough, but I have installed several radios to replace OEM/original. So I’m not a novice and not an expert. This is double DIN. The trim kit was close, but had to “shave” one side to fit and not bow edges. Wiring harness matched 80% of the existing Ford wiring. Has every feature you will need; rear and FRONT cameras input. Only one rear camera included. Has steering control wiring, but our Ford does not. Bummer. Has all speakers, subwoofer and amp connections if needed. Power antenna too. Standard radio antenna for AM/FM. No CD/DVD, but why need with CarPlay. It shows Android but I don’t use or know anything about it. I used existing radio double din mounting bracket which made life easy. Make sure you match 3rd party wiring harness and trim kit for your specific vehicle. It will help. Good luck. This was my first android radio so finding all the settings etc. to connect to my phone and wireless took a while but I finally got it all connected. The actual install was a breeze, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. They seem to use universal color-coded my wires so hooking it up to the matching pigtail for my vehicle was super easy, all the colors matched. My only complaint is the volume controls are very near the edge of the screen and kind of hard to touch. However, I think this is mainly do to the plastic adapter plate that I got off of amazon. I think its covering up some of the edge of the screen. I plan to buy another one for my other vehicle. ... show more

Install in 2005 jeep liberty. It works ok. Wireless CarPlay is great. Display is great. Included camera worked great until it rained then water got inside housing and it was unusable. Had to replace it with another one. Included phone mic was horrible I had to replace it with another one as well. Volume control buttons are very difficult to touch correctly. No AM function on radio. Other than that all the functions work as they should. It’s about what I would expect for what I paid for it. Audio sound is so-so. Big upgrade over stock stereo. Put in my daughter’s car so she had Spotify, navigation, phone without having to look at her phone. It connects automatically every time and doesn’t cause any problems. ... show more

Claims it has Car Play, it does not. Backup cam doesn’t work. It can play local radio and, that’s about all. Bluetooth is static, low volume, wish I could return it but, I installed it.

CarPlay worked for 4 days now won’t connect, Bluetooth still works so it’s whatever.
