    • Quality hose with no leaks
This is a solid flexible hose that doesn't leak or tangle. The connectors are reinforced at each end and I hope to get a lot of use out of this. The rubber is a substantial thickness yet still very flexible. The patterned nozzle is a nice bonus and works well.

I like the 5/8 I.D. because I need to run hose nearly 300 feet to get to some of my new trees. I like the 50 foot length because it isn't too heavy to handle when stringing out or bringing back in. The brass fittings can't be beat for corrosion resistance especially with all-weather hoses like this one. The anti-kink coils are good to prevent this soft hose over flexing and crimping shut if it gets pulled too hard. The blue stripe might not look like much to inexperienced users but it is great at showing immediately if you have twisted the hose because twists are a prime cause of kinking when dragging the hose around while watering. I also like to use quick disconnects with hoses as I'm a lot less likely to bust knuckles turning them on and off faucets every time I have to change connections. Standard quick disconnects are working perfectly with this hose. ... show more

    • Real brass connectors, not aluminum
The hose is light and flexible compared to my other rubber hose, and hopefully it will not get as stiff in cold weather. This flexibility is probably why it has strain relief at the ends, as it would pinch itself shut if pulled sideways at the house spigot. A big plus for this hose is that it has brass connectors. Most hoses you find today have aluminum connectors, anodized to look like brass. I have seen the aluminum ones left connected to a spigot, and they were so corroded that they could not be removed. I filed a little bit off the side of these, and they are indeed solid brass. If you want a light, flexible hose with real brass fittings, this is a good choice. ... show more

    • Thin walled, prone to kinks
This is the type of hose that needs to sit still so you don't kink it. Like use this from your spicket to a hose reel so it don't have to move around at all, that's what it needs to be used for. It's got a very thin wall, light duty for sure. No issues with leaks and time ends are solid and have been screwed in and out of pickets and sprinklers a bunch of times. This is a horrible hose. First, it says it's kinkless. That is definitely not true. It is constantly kinking. But the bigger issue is that the spray head doesn't stay on and there are no threads to put anything else on the end. Seriously, you cannot put anything on the end of this hose. It's ridiculous. Seems to be really durable. Haven't used it a whole lot, but it works well, and is easy to use and coil up. Not much else to say about it, but it definitely gets the water where it needs to go.
