Hemp bedding for small animals. Perfect bedding for small animals. I use it for my chinchilla. She loves it. It keeps her cage free from odor and my chin comfortable. It is dustfree, and does not give off any oils or odors that you may get from other mediums. hemp is the safest 'woody' bedding type for small animals and my girls love to burrow in this. i just wish it was as cheap as it is in the UK, where hemp bedding is significantly cheaper than paper bedding. This 18L lasts me two cage cleans in my 50gal tank, so around two months.

I like the hemp bedding my birds like the hemp bedding too. It’s fresh smells good I put it on top of pine chips to winterize my coop.I wish it came in larger bundles I used all 4 at once…I like this stuff!

Was a lot less than I thought was coming but that was probably my bad. Works okay. Not the easiest to sift but does keep it dry and not so stinky. I use it under my roosting bars in my chicken coop.

    • Excellent product -- price could be a little better but I'm not complaining.

We have been using this product for more than half a year and have nothing but really good things to say for it, if you keep chickens as we do. (We keep 50 here in a 17'x42' coup on a 6" rebar and concrete slab.) We use the usual straw bales from our local feed store. But we do experience a lot of rain and moisture and are finding this material to be an important part of what we do here. We will continue to purchase the product from this supplier or another that can produce a similar product. It's a valuable addition. If you have fewer chickens or a smaller environment to deal with, I'd have no question at all. It's GREAT! Just do it! It is only when you are in the size range we are in, or larger, where cost factors become more of an issue to consider. But this truly is a great product if you are dealing with areas of moisture, for example. It is great, generally, too. So don't get me wrong about that. But especially when moisture problems crop up, this is a great product to try out to see how it works for you. I have nothing but good things to say about the supplier. We've received the product in reasonable time and we consider the price to be acceptable, as well. So I am very happy they are there and helping us out. I know it isn't easy for what they do, either. So I'm just happy. It's a mutual arrangement that works for us both. And that's how it should be. Best wishes to all. ... show more

Very expensive and I found it was not effective in retaining moisture like the other litter products I have tried. am afraid that I would have to say that I wear not happy with the product at all!
