Style: V20PRO
Order & Receive in 7 days. One Plug-in Connector & Four Short Screws to secure Handle bar/Power control. Charge the Battery & Experience the Excitement. When I disconnected the charger, pushed the power button, it didn't even light up. So, 5TH WHEEL & I began exchanging information back and forth. I just wanted the Scooter 🛴 to power up and run. 5TH WHEEL was really trying to resolve the problem based on what I sent them. I was soon Frustrated, Disappointed and Done ! So, I Retrieved the Original shipping box Determined to send it back. Removed the Handle bar & was about to unplug that Connector And THERE'S THE PROBLEM 💥 HAIRLINE SEPARATION with the electrical Connector. Pushed Connector Tighter together and reassembled unit. Pushed the Power Button and The Display Lit Up Like A Christmas Tree🎉🪅 Problem Resolved: 5TH WHEEL's V20 Pro Scooter Can't Be Outdone. • Doesn't hold a charge for long
Style: V20PRO
Very sturdy but wished the electric scooter was able to keep it's charge for more than an hour. That's not even including riding it steady.

Style: V20PRO
i went to my local gas station, about 2 miles. before i went, the scooter was fully charged. after i went there, it was only 25% charged, so i had to go back and walk and carry the scooter with me which took about 1 hour. not worth it, only ranges 3 miles.

  • Where Was This Scooter When I Was 12?
Style: V20PRO
I'd never ridden an electric scooter before, cannot compare this to other models, so here are my novice impressions. The 5TH WHEEL V20 PRO arrived in a large, slim heavy box. As I was in a good mood,I thought let's not spoil things by attempting to assemble this thing. A week later with my wife and daughter out of the house, only the cats would hear me swear. Opened the large box, removed the well-packed scooter pieces, found a manual. Turns out assembly requires putting in 4 hex screws. Thankfully they provided 6 screws, they must know my assembly skills. An hour later, after stripping one hex screw, but doing a good job on the other three, then removing all the screws after seeing the handle bar installed backwards, I thought I'd go for my test ride. Short-push the power button, nothing. Maybe it's long-push on, short-push off? No. OK, must need a charge. I left in the garage overnight, gave it a good charge. Now, let's try this scooter out. No power. Anyway, I remember during assembly, that tiny little plug you plug together and hide inside the handlebar stem was pretty hard to seat. Disassembled the handlebar again, found that little plug, and by forcing it down on top of a solid worktop, I gained that last 1/16th of an inch for the plug to seat properly. Lights on the speedo works! Attempted for the second time to download the APP for the scooter. It didn't recognize any of the six passwords I tried, oh well. Maybe I can find a 12 year old to load the APP. Turns out, the scooter will work without the APP. Riding Impression: I've been riding motorcycles for 50 years. In comparison, Scooters are much less stable and may be more dangerous. Ride aware of your speed, stability and surrounding auto and pedestrian traffic, assume drivers do not see you. That said, after the first mile or two, the V20 Pro is confidence inspiring. The speed is limited to 18 mph, even downhill, that's a good thing. The one hill in the neighborhood challenged its power, I resorted to zig-zagging up the hill. I like that the scooter is good at slowing itself when letting off the thumb-activated throttle. The brakes work well, but give them plenty of time for a slow controlled stop, avoid panic stops. At around 30 lbs., the scooter is a little heavier than I anticipated. Once folded, it is compact and even with its heft it will be easy to stash in the back of the pickup. We're off on week long camping trip to the beach in our trailer soon. The scooter is coming along. The local camp store is about a mile away, looking forward to my first ice run. ... show more

  • It's easy to put the handlebars on backwards
Style: V20PRO
I got this as a gift for my twenty something son, but of course I had to test it out first! I assembled this in a few minutes. It's fairly easy to put together, but I did put the handlebars on backwards at first and then had to take them apart and reassemble. I think the instructions could be improved to help prevent this mistake. The other piece that I didn't realize is that you have to begin pushing off in order for the motor to kick in. You can't just put your foot on it and press the accelerator and expect it to move like you can with those rentals that are all over the place. I haven't taken it for a long ride yet, so I can't speak to the longevity of the battery in that situation, but I did do a quick ride around my flat neighborhood and was impressed by the battery capacity in that use. I didn't also take it to the highest speed, so I'm sure that's part of the picture with respect to battery life. The faster you go, the harder the motor must work and the more it's going to drain the battery. The lights all seem to work fine and are easy to use. The brakes work well, also. My main complaint is that it uses a proprietary plug for charging. It would have been nice to be able to use something more standard. The other potential issue is the location of the charging port. It's under the deck where you stand and, while it does have a little silicone plug, I can see the potential of getting dirt or water in there very easily. Bottom line: overall, I'm satisfied with this scooter. It's definitely not perfect, but it's good enough for my purposes. ... show more
