  • Built Like A More Expensive Camera But Easy To Use
If you have used any good quality digital camera, you will adjust to this one easily. The camera has an ergonomic design like the one used for higher-priced cameras. But there is one difference. With the push of a button, this camera takes photos in two directions, front and rear. Other Features • The camera has built-in digital filters. • The lens can take 52mm filters and step rings, expanding the camera's functions. ⁃ And it comes with a lens hood and cap. • Note. The Lens hood pushes on. It does not screw into place. • There is a pop-up flash. Which is activated, by pushing the button with the flash icon. • There is a cold shoe for a slave flash unit. ⁃ But there is no PC connection for a flash. • Charging the battery pack is by USB adapter or other USB charging outlets. Two items worth mentioning that the camera should have but does not. 1. In review mode, you can move from image to image. But you cannot zoom into the image. Too bad. The zoom is a great feature to have when reviewing images. 2. The camera uses a digital zoom, not an optical zoom. Digital Zoom is cool. But optical zoom is better. No Pixelated image is the reason. For the purposes of this camera, a digital zoom is acceptable. It goes without saying. Do not point the camera directly at the sun. You will not only risk damage to your eyes, but you can damage the imaging sensor. This precaution does not mean you cannot shoot a sunrise or sunset. In those scenarios, the sun is part of the scene, not the main focus. That said. I recommend this camera to beginner and intermediate photographers. I still use a compact camera for impromptu shooting sessions. And I can see using this camera for those times that I need a better camera. There is more that I could say about this camera, but why spoil it for you? Enjoy. ... show more

  • Great quality for the price!
We have used this camera for pictures, videos, blogging and teaching. I am quite impressed with the quality and clarity this camera gives. Very crisp photos and smooth videos. It does take a little getting used to with the symbols but the instructions are clear and easy to understand, even for a young teen. My son has taken it over and absolutely loves it. If you are looking for a quality camera at an affordable price I would recommend this one. If you are just getting started with blogging or video creation - it is a great place to start! ... show more

  • crisp, clear, imagery
The Digital Camera for Photography from UIKICON has been an excellent addition to my seashore adventures. Priced around $99, it offers incredible value for the features it provides. The camera delivers crisp images with no chromatic dispersion, which is essential for capturing the beauty of the seashore in all its detail. The 1080P 24MP resolution ensures high-quality photos, and the WiFi capability makes it easy to transfer images to my devices. The touch screen is intuitive, and the included 32GB SD card provides ample storage for all my shots. This camera is compact and user-friendly, making it perfect for vlogging and casual photography. The dual camera setup and digital image stabilization enhance its versatility, allowing for great shots even in challenging conditions. Overall, this UIKICON camera is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to capture beautiful images without breaking the bank. An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review! ... show more

  • Good, but could be better
For a modest price this camera a pretty decent, however, due to it being budget friendly it feels like they packed in a lot of features, but forgot the polish. Things I liked: - Image quality is surprisingly decent - Selfie camera good quality too - Slow mo works decent, this is great for an action sequences - The screen enormous and beautiful to look at. I wish I had this on my good pro-sumer cameras!! - HDMI out can be clean and used as a streaming camera. Using the mini HDMI out works quite well paired with a capture card. - When using USB-C the PC picks up the camera right away without any issues there. - Lighting can be mixed: At times it looks pretty good in low light. Comparable to my DSLR. Other times, it might not handle contrast and ambient lights well - It is able to do timelapse video or photography. I did a 20 minute trip and was able to set the amount of time between photos. It worked pretty well. - There is a timelapse picture mode which can be great for a family gathering and group picture where there's always people not looking at the camera or making a weird face. Sometimes those can take like 20 pictures to get just the right shot. - It's worth noting that where the "view finder" is, is the rear facing camera. I never use those anyway, so I think this is a pretty awesome idea to be able to see what you are taking a picture of when in selfie mode. I'm not sure if there is a difference between the front facing camera and the rear facing camera. Things I didn't like: - Unable to zoom on play mode - Sounds are a little annoying and menus are clunky - Using the USB C output can be clunky. The image quality is pretty decent, but the frame rate can be really poor. - When using HDMI out the only annoyance there is that the screen goes completely black even though it still accepts touch screen input. It's better to adjust your image settings first and then plug it in. - Menu confirm is hitting the same button twice. Menu features are limited, and using the menu is not very smooth. - Taking a picture displays a message, so it's interrupting the flow of taking the picture. It wouldn't be so bad if the interruption was the picture you just took to confirm it looked good, but unfortunately it is an emersion breaking experience. - Perhaps the biggest draw back is that the big lens is a placebo. This camera does NOT feature an optical zoom at all. Any zooming in is done digitally. This means that your are not actually zooming in, (making a small or distant object bigger, no reduction in pixels), with this camera you are cropping the image (so that less pixels fill the space). Essentially, to get decent pictures you need to treat this like a prime lens (a lens that doesn't have a focus), which means that you need to either move closer or further away from your subject to properly frame a shot - The lens hood attaches by a kind of a rubber gasket that is meant to wedge into place. It doesn't screw on, so if bumped it will easily fall off. - There might be some focusing issues: Auto focus sometimes doesn't want to focus on objects well. At times holding slightly down on the shutter button gets it to static focus and almost focuses correctly on an object, but when you release the shutter button it goes slightly out of focus. However, I let my kids take pictures using this in a garden center and they were able to capture some decent shots (see pictures). - Timelapse video doesn't have a good indication of when photos are being taken. This works great for general timelapse video (fast motion landscapes, travelling b-roll content), but to do a stop animation it is nearly impossible to know exactly when the picture is being taken. I have mixed feelings about the camera. For limited use cases this is an excellent camera, - vloggers could likely use this as a decent video source - someone just getting interested in photography or sharing the easy point-and-shoot nature of this type of camera - someone making use of one of the various features if they are focused on a single purpose photography/videography, e.g. timelapse, vlog streaming, simple point-and-shoot photography On the other hand, the quirks and limitations on this camera make it not a great experience to use as a regular camera. I'm not sure I would want this as my primary camera, but as a back up camera it is decent enough to tag along. This could be a great starter camera as well. Honestly, if they added some polish to the UI/UX of the camera and added an optical zoom lens instead of the fixed digital zoom this camera would be great ! ... show more
