I have a medium sized solo stove and wanted to use this on my camping mat to prevent the wood from spitting out and landing and causing holes in the mat. This mat worked GREAT! Not only did it stop the wood chips from burning my mat; a piece of wood (shown in the picture) fell out of the solo stove, landed on the mat and the mat DIDN'T BURN AT ALL and it prevented it from ruining my camping mat.
