Definitely a must have for weekend warriors! My husband saw some for less money but after reviewing I chose this one because we have a lot of big trees down in our yard. We even used on a 24” log with no problem. This is definitely solid (no modifications needed like some others) easy to put together and definitely easy to use. You can believe everything the company has said in the description. Update: the feet on the bar it rests on are very sturdy and do not sink into soft ground. This works well to get logs up off the ground so as not to cut into the dirt and ruin my chain. It also works pretty well to roll logs to get them in a better position. Makes the job of bucking up logs much easier and safer. It's very heavy duty. I've gotten logs up on it that were 24" diameter x 8ft long. I don't think I'd try anything bigger, but if the opportunity arises I might try it. ... show more

A worthless "instruction" booklet but fortunately the product isn't exactly complex. The product was scratched up and fasteners were loose in the box so I suspect I am not the first purchaser. .... After the first day of use this tool has proved its worth, mostly for keeping chainsaw chain and bar out of the dirt. It's robust enough to persuade some rather large logs and when used properly helps keep the chainsaw bar from being pinched. A productivity enhancer and chain saver. It could be improved by making the feet wider/larger for use on soft ground. ... show more

I cut down a lot of trees on my property, and it is difficult to log the trees with then sitting on the ground, and they are usually too heavy to lift onto another log (if you have one). This timberjack is the perfect solution ! I felled a huge pine tree, trimmed the branches off, and I was able to use this log jack to lift the end of the tree and cut it up, moving the jack as I went. It easily slashed the time to cut up the whole tree in half. It is light and easy to maneuver. If you cut up a lot of trees, this is a must have. ... show more
