The media could not be loaded. The setup process was easy and only took about 10 minutes. The swing is fun. We had two children on it with weight under 220 lbs and it was fine. The swing was originally setup without the white bumper tubes because we felt that the white color would stick out and look strange. After our initial setup they were added on to insure the sides stay up right. The only thing we would change would be to make the tubes black, so that the white coloring doesn't stick out of the mesh.     • Well-Made—Strong and Safe—Takes Two People to Assemble

The 43" Saucer Tree Swing is a nice saucer swing, but the steel tubes could be more robust, perhaps 1.5mm instead of 1.2mm. However, the sum of its parts makes it strong enough for even adults to enjoy. Assembly was a bit of a challenge. Pay close attention to the instructions, especially the pictures. I find that most of the instructions translated from Chinese need improvement. The most challenging part of the assembly was getting the four metal frame sections to line up correctly. It's best to use two people for that part of the process. The carabiners, swivels, rings, and other metal attachment and adjustment parts are well-made and robust. The nylon straps are also well-made. The ropes seem kind of cheaply made. I'm no expert, but they seem to be a bit too lightweight. That said, they do hold the swing securely. Adjusting the length or height is a bit tricky. Thankfully, we have a similar swing that uses the same adjustment system, and I already have experience changing the height of the swing. The foam covering the frame is thick enough to keep it well-padded. The Texline fabric is strong and holds up well to outdoor weather. However, it is rough, and I can see where the delicate skin of little kids could be chaffed, so be aware of that. However, it is strong and constructed to withstand years of outdoor use. It is convenient to be able to hang the swing from two points or one. If you desire the swing to move along a straight axis, then use the two-point mounting. Hanging it from one point will allow for 360° rotation. Conclusion: A Tree Swing is a delight for both adults and children. If you're fortunate enough to have a suitable tree to hang it from, the experience of a swing suspended from a large tree branch is truly special and enjoyable. While this swing did not exceed my expectations, which is my requirement to receive five stars, it did meet them and earned a respectable four-star rating. It will be a welcomed addition to an already fun yard for our grandchildren (and their parents)! I hope this review helps. Thanks for reading! ... show more

We had purchased a baby swing for our grandson Easton his size is that of a 9 month old at 6 months, and we found that our older grandson's felt left out. Our daughter bought a hammock style and that was not the best solution. We saw this saucer and it ended up being the absolute best solution for all users, even the baby. This saucer was relatively easy to assemble and clearly can take some heavy weight and combinations of riders. It quickly and easily snaps together into a rather strong and firm saucer. We have attached this to a length of long nylon climbing rope perhaps 38' long under a Maple tree with a sizable swing to it. I probably would not have ordered a hot pink color, but color aside, this truly is a very fun and rugged saucer swing, there are no seatbelts or anything like that, but our 4 and 6 year old grandson's simply hang onto the two attachment lines and swing higher than others might be comfortable with. The moment that people come into the yard, the swing ends up being their go-to place to hand, so to speak. Grown- ups fit very well and comfortably on this saucer with ease. Our daughters come and lay face up on this saucer swing for hours in the backyard. Bottom line, everyone loves this saucer and the price is right. Collectively, everyone gives this saucer Five Stars! ... show more

The image with the family looks doctored (are those people elves?) but the one wine the 3 kids looks realistic to size. I mounted this on a tree branch 20 ft high, but I had to buy 64 for of rope to do it (needed extra to be able to throw it over the branch as opposed to climbing up there). I used a hitch knot, which is a loop on one side and then the straight part if the top goes through the loop, much like an airport luggage tag. Make sure you use static climbing rope that is designed for outdoor use. I paid around $40 for 64 feet. And then to attach to the swing I used a double figure 8 knot, as is common in wall-climbing. The swing comes with ropes that allow you to easily adjust the height and angle, which is necessary to make the two sides even so the swing is level. My kids love it so much! I’m not sure if it would be as fun for them if it were only mounted 10 ft high. ... show more

    • A bit difficult to put together

I got this for my 3yr old. I replaced a regular swing with this one. This was much more difficult to put together than I anticipated. The first 2 pieces fit together fine. As you add another piece it get more difficult because the swing is pretty large circumference and the foam padding slides around so it's hard to get a good grip to slide the pipes together. Once I got the pipes together, I realized I didn't connect the ropes..DOH! Had to take it apart and do it again. The second time was much easier because this time when you install the rope, it makes it easier for the pipes slide right into the other one and lock into place. Don't make my mistake and read the instructions first to save you some time. Once everything was put together I installed it onto the swingset. That part was very easy. It was easy enough to adjust the height of the swing as well. The weight limit on this swing is listed at 300 kg which is roughly 660lb. I weigh close to 200lb and got on it and didn't have any issues so my 27lb daughter shouldn't have issues. Overall, a very sturdy product. I rate it a 5 star and would recommend. ... show more
