I have shopped for many plants and I do have my favorite sellers, but these were by the best String of Pearls I have ever received. They were dry, sure beats root rot where the pearls are mush. I did have dirt in the box, but I'm 99.9% sure it was my Lazy Postal Carrier. The pearls were smaller than most, but when I combined with one other plants, I now have the perfect Big Plant of them that I really wanted. The Cluster Echeveria cv. Blue Apples did not at all look like the photo. I said to myself that this couldn't be the one I bought, yet I did recognize some characters about it, but I have had so many too that would be easy to do. The color was all green, no rainbow, and only one with small flower. It was Healthy though, but i didn't like paying twice what others cost, $15.99 vs $8.00, Plus Shipping $3.00 when others ship free. Other than that, he is new to the trade, so in time he will either do really well or be a real flop. Hopefully he will care enough to learn and work hard to ship out the Best Plants ever and then be the Next Real Gardener. ... show more

Plant is beautiful and I don't have a pet so I will keep it. But I have taken care of a cat now and then so I will be sure my string of Pearl's plant is locked away if that again happens. All sellers on Amazon should put this vital information of toxicity in their ads on this and the popular snake plant and others. The friendship plant is safe, they call it money plant now? The fact that the string of pearl's plant is native to the African desert is also a good fact to know and a selling point for many. ... show more

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is not quite as full and lush as the picture, but it is still in good shape and with a bit of tender care, it will thrive. I am happy to have this plant on my window sill.

I love succulents and I saw this plant as a small child when me and my family visited the Builtmore House in the 70's. I never knew what it was until I Google it. As you can tell many years later after the passing of my mother. Many of my childhood memories came back to me. I actually Googled " plant that looks like green peas " and I found my plant. I did need to get a grow light to keep it in the winter, as I live in NC and I can not keep it on my sun porch like I can in the summer. ... show more

Received these 2 plants in same shipping package. The Crassula is a generous, live specimen. However, the String of pearls specimen is underwhelming, contrary to the picture on Amazon would make you believe you were purchasing.
