Not for everyday professional use but then again that's not what you paid for! It's fine for occasional light use though. I have noticed that when comparing to other solder of the same diameter the solder does take more heat to melt. Other buyers have mentioned this.... It will be fine for connectors, wires and such but I would not recommend using this solder on small heat sensitive components as I usually don't use any more heat than necessary for the particular application. ... show more

Awesome products, good price. The solder is of course gone it went fast and is of excellent quality. The solder wick us awesome but doesn't work with lead free just an FYI. You can add a drop of lead solder to get it to work though. In combination with a solder sucker it's easy to tackle even the most stubborn solder joints. The iron cleaner is awesome. I put some sticky tack on the bottom and stuck it to my desk. The bottom pulls off to replace the copper mesh which is good mesh I have yet to replace it. The tinning flux is good too. I use it to retin older tips and to dip wire ends into it to get good flow. Overall everything is very satisfactory! ... show more
