This is marketed to kids but is just as good for adults that want to get into 3d printing but maybe are not good at tinkering and messing with things to get them working right. This all came well packed with a lot of foam to protect it during shipping. It comes with a ton of accessories and different color filaments. All of the filaments come in air tight bags to prevent moisture absorption, which can ruin the filament and cause issues during printing. One of the filaments air tight bag was not sealed, so I will have to try to dry out that filament before using it but the rest of them were fine. This printer has a pretty small print surface but it does have a flexible magnetic removable build plate. This makes it really easy to get your prints out of the unit and off of the build surface. You can just flex the base and the print should come off. Printer has everything ready to go in a small portable package. It has an interior light, a door to keep the heat in during printing which can help with layer adhesion. It even has a camera inside to watch your prints as they are built. The camera is fairly low quality, but get the job done and is a fun touch to watch and monitor the progress. I did not have to do any calibration and the unit is printing just fine. They are not the cleanest prints I have ever seen on a filament based printer but for the price and inclusion of everything it is really impressive. I was hesitant to try out this printer as I have another larger printer that I have had for several years. This printer really impressed with with everything it came with and how easy it is to get setup and start printing. Even the quality of the prints for a small cheap printer is really great.     • Prints well but slightly overpriced
I had no issues with the filament. The reason for my three-star rating is the price; there are cheaper filaments available that offer the same quality. However, if you can find it at a good price, the quality of this filament would make it worthwhile.

    • Pricy but good filament
I saw this new brand come up, and while it was expensive I wanted to try it, so I ordered a few different colors, I love multicolored prints. Really love this silver color, it reminds me of pewter. I did two test prints, one to keep as a color reference and the other for destructive testing. The test print that I keep for reference looks pretty good. Layer lines on the side of the model look great, a little bit better than what I expected for such a shiny filament. It’s not a “silk” filament, it’s in between a solid color and shiny, a little more toward the shiny side. This spool was vacuum sealed well, the filament strand is nice and straight, and it is spooled neatly. The dimensions of the spool are approximately 60mm wide and 195mm in diameter. The spool is a nice thick plastic with a nice thick rim as well. I’m pretty sure this will work in a Bamboo AMS. I run my test prints on the same printer using the same G-Code every time as it’s my baseline. I haven’t needed to make any adjustments to get a great print out of this stuff. The detail is good, the overhangs are good, it seems to bridge well, and on the part of my model to test for stringing it passed in my opinion. The layer adhesion on this is excellent. I was not able to break my test print that I use for destructive testing- some don’t pass that test. My overall opinion of this filament is that it’s pretty decent stuff. It checks off all of my boxes except price point. If you’re ok with that, I’d highly recommend this filament. I’m impressed with this new brand. ... show more

*Will update review once replacement is received. UPDATE W received the new printer with a working base plate that moved. However, the printer still printer very morphed prints. After talking with their chat help, we attempted to recalibrate and level with only slightly better success. We were not impressed and will be refunding and looking at other brands. After setting up the printer we attempted multiple prints which all were canceled mid-print after we realized the base tray wasn't even moving. Tried a factory reset, but we were never able to see it function properly. ... show more
