I compared this model with the tool trucks’ brand and noticed that the handle is solid which helps in prying off the exhaust from the hanger. The name brand tool is hollow and looks somewhat weak as opposed to this. Great price, great tool.

These pliers allow you to remove hangers without lube or destroying the rubber. I may never use these again, but with how simple they made my install, I'll keep them just in case. Great cheap tool to have that does what they're supposed to do with no hiccups.

These made removing my exhaust from my bronco a quick and easy process. I sprayed some WD-40 on the hanger rubbers and then using this tool they popped right off. They seem to be made well enough for their intended purpose, I didn't see any signs of flimsiness. They should be good for many many uses in the future. ... show more

That pliers like tool is very helpful for removing exhaust pipes and mufflers off the rubber suspension, fits perfect and do no damage to parts. Replacement rubber parts are very sturdy and well made. Working good and no problems so far.

Worked great to remove exhaust hangers in order to install a trailer hitch. Much easier than struggling with channel lock pliers. For DIY or occasional shop use these will last a long time. Muffler techs that do this daily will probably want to invest in a sturdier tool (although with a welder handy these could be easily rebuilt if they did break).
