These were exactly what I was looking for. The plates have a lip around the edge and the two different bowls. I got the matching cups separately. They're thick, heavy, and lovely. The color in the pictures doesn't do it justice. I'll be getting another set to serve 8 total.

Needed to replace my 20+ year old dish set that I loved. Really think this set is beautiful and sturdy and checked all the boxes of what I was looking for. But, they do scratch. Just ordered the 8-person place serving. Comes with a large dinner plate, a smaller dessert plate, large salad bowl and a smaller soup bowl. Beautiful gray and dark black-gray pattern! There was one dinner plate with a small chip in the paint. However the seller has a card on how to swap out a defective item. Great customer service and received the set within 2 days! FYI if you order the larger 8-serving set, be sure to have a partner that can assist you bringing in the box. It's pretty heavy! Lol ... show more
