The rope is basically paper, which is good because it is light enough to stay stuck! They are so bright! It was easy to put up! My 12 yr old done it almost by himself! Lol! One strand fit all the way around his room! They are better than Walmart and cheaper! I want to use them everywhere! They are so bright! He doesn't even need a light on! First one I received appears to be defective and was not connecting to WiFi. Got a replacement, which is working with WiFi and so can work with Alexa or Google home. You need the DayBetter app to link it to the WiFi Alexa or google. Otherwise regular LED strip light.

This was a easy setup and the outcome was great and definitely worth it. The only thing to keep in mind is to not cut the strips! I might have cut it wrong but it I were you I would not risk it. One other problem that I have is how close you have to be to the plug of the lights to change the lights with remote. It's definitely something I can live with but I would prefer if the distancesbwsd literally just a couple of feet.Everything else is great though. Looks really good. ... show more
