This set is a good set for the most part. The weight of the utensils are nice and they all feel pretty good overall. Basic but totally usable. The knives will rust in the serrated portions of each blade in the dishwasher. I would recommend washing the knives by hand and you should have no problems. It would be handier if I could put all of them in the dishwasher though ... show more

They feel substantial enough in the hand, so I don't feel I have to worry about any of them bending during use, The knives cut, the forks pierce and hold and they do what a silverware set is supposed to do: work. These were bought on a whim, really. We've been needing new silverware for a LONG time but I happened to see these and decided to go ahead and get them. Pros: they have a nice weight to them. They seem to be nice and sturdy, if plain. Cons: they didn't do any sort of rounding or grinding on the edges and sometimes they are a bit sharp feeling. I haven't been cut, but it's not a good feeling either way. Also, even though it says they are dishwasher safe, they are already rusting. Some pieces are worse than others. I know part of it has to be the dishwasher, considering it's old and not great, but there's nothing I can do about that (got to love living in an apartment with crappy management). I don't think that's all of it, though. For the price point, I was hoping they would do better for longer. All in all, not the best but they'll work for now. ... show more
