LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this flatware! I will use it more formally, as it's great not having to polish real silver! I had enough of that YEARS ago. This flatware has the elegance of a formal table, in my opinion. AND THERE'S THE TABLE! YOU be the judge! OH, and the knives are as described and cut meat VERY well! That was another reason I bought this set. I served filet mignon for this surprise HUGE milestone birthday party for 10, and I tested these knives among the guests to see if anyone wished me to access my cutco steak knives. And...NOPE! This flatware is HUGE - the knives especially are much larger than what I would consider the average size. I didn’t even unpack the set because I could see the pieces in the display portion of the package. I wanted these to use for an event at church, but I am afraid they will dwarf the table setting itself.
