Honest review - unpaid and uncompensated. CZ makes the best net pots! They are sturdy and have a wide lip. Most brands *say* they have a wide lip, but the don't actually. The wide lip is important because it allows for some variation in hole size while still letting the net pot fit beautifully. Also, my circular hole drill makes the perfect size hole fir these - other brands sit a little too high. Other brands have a thin lip and the hole myst be exact... but the other brands are not as sturdy and can warp - and drop you plant into the nutrient reservoir. I do remove the CZ net pot center so my plants' roots have more room, but I cut other net pot brands also. While CZ is a little more expensive, you get what you pay for, and this is a quality product! I have used CZ net pots since 2019. I keep trying other brands and wondering why I keep trying to cheap out on my plants. Also, these are dishwasher safe (even in our dishwasher that melts dishwasher safe plastic) and reusable. Some of the other brands are destroyed by roots and are a disposable product. ... show more

Cups are well made. Appears more durable than other 3 inch net pots but I only received 17 pots instead of the 25 specified in the description. The lesson learned is to be sure to count how many pots you received. Waiting on the seller to make this right. It is not worth the time to return such a low cost item to find out if the replacement order would also be shorted. UPDATE: After contacting the seller through Amazon, seller made a prompt refund for the missing cups. I would give a 5 star rating for seller response but still 1 star rating for the missing 32 percent of the order. UPDATE #2: Surprise! Surprise! Today 6 and 1/2 weeks later, out of the blue, for no apparent reason, the brown truck pulls up and delivers 24 more cups that we did not order. No point in trying to figure this out but I upped the rating from 1 star to 5 stars. Still, they don't put a full 25 cups in a 25 cup labelled sleeve but they sure made this right.     • Good performance
I used these to grow lettuce in buckets. Just used a hole saw to cut the lids (3 to a 12" bucket lid), filled the little pots with 5/8" pea gravel after inserting the seedlings, added nutrient solution to the buckets with an air stone and pump. Voila. just add distilled or rainwater to keep solution level to the top and 30 to 40 days later - perfect lettuce. I grew these under mosquito netting with no need to worry about insect damage and no fungus, disease, or deficiencies. I only added nutrient once at the beginning and that was enough for the entire growing period. Just need neutral and nutrient free water to make up for transpiration. I am going to try this inside under lights now that the temp is rising as the lettuce will get bitter and ultimately bolt if left outside. ... show more

This is the second time I've bought these netpots and will likely buy them again when needed. These netpots are very sturdy and have a good size rim, so there is zero chance of these falling through a 3 inch hole. I have been able to re-use these pots multiple times, just clean them and they are as good as new, in fact the only reason I needed to order more was due to losing some of them and others that I cut or destroyed for one reason or another. ... show more

    • I wish these was more open space at the bottom, but otherwise functional.
These cups are pretty cool. Especially if the plants that you are growing send roots out the sides rather than straight down. I often found myself clipping the space between the CZ away so it was completely open, at which point they work great. If you are cool with a little modification they work well. ... show more

I went through quite a few listings before finding this net cup. I needed one that would fit my wide mouth mason jars, that would be sturdy enough, and it had to be BPA free. These net cups check all the boxes. I'm currently growing different plants in them using the Kratky method and these net cups are a perfect fit.     • Good product, very useful
This is my second year using these cups. I make four holes on a five gallon bucket lid and these sit very well in the holes. Last year, made five holes but that was a bit too much. There is room enough at the bottom (either the “C” or the “Z”) to allow a few pieces in the center to be cut off if the root is too large to fit through the tiny slots.     • CZ is the best! Net cups built the way they should be!
Nice thick design for years of use. The lip of the cup is wider than all others and helps hold in place taller plants while blocking overhead light. You can feel the quality when you pull it out of the package. I like this companies products and don’t think twice when ordering something new.
