The mattress topper was packed nicely and expanded to its full thickness within half an hour, even though the instructions said it would take 24 hours. I placed it on top of an air mattress for my guest, and they slept comfortably. It’s firm enough that it can even be used on its own without the air mattress if someone prefers a firmer surface. Overall, I have no complaints about the mattress topper itself, and it was the most affordable option compared to others.
