I understand for more money there are better options but for what I payed this topper has been great. My bed feels a lot better and it was great to have the corner straps to keep it fit to the mattress. The foam helps smooth my back and it’s been on our bed for about a year still in good shape. Like other back pain sufferers, I don't want to jinx things, but for the first time in 12 years I woke up the very next day after putting this topper on my mattress, with significant less pain. I had back to back ciada ewuina surgery and my nerves and muscles, plus lower back and sciatica remain. Very depressing as you might understand. I am not overweight and there is no explanation for the floating fragments found on my sacral spine area. Anyhow, now to the positive news. I put this thing on my king mattress and it fit perfectly. I have trouble sleeping, but when I woke up today, oh my gosh! I typically take 15 to 20 minutes just to hold my breath and try to roll out of bed with all the pain. 20 pillows used etc. This morning, I could not believe the immense reduction in pain. No pain pills today! I hope this thing lasts. Great price and feels luxurious. It feels firm, but not like a rock. More like it pushes pressure back to you. My husband says best purchase. He is younger than I am and no back issues, bit he said he slept like a log. Good luck to all of you with this horrible kind of pain. Hope this review helps. This topper is horrible!!! It moves constantly, the straps that should hold the topper in place doesn't work. The cooling system is a joke I'm still hot during my sleep and I awake aching all over. I really want my money back!!

Swales still swale. It's better than laying on the old mattress I was trying to extend the life of for awhile. Can turn the topper on bed when changing linens, but still sinks. Was no odor, and easily floated onto existing mattress.
