I got this to get myself back into shape after post partum. There's three separate parts to the wrap, a belly wrap, a waist wrap, and a hip wrap. Sizing appears to be accurate and the velcro straps are designed to really cinch in everything. It has pretty good support and keeps you entire torso and hip straight, but I don't think you'll be able to sit in this. So I had to try some variations, because it is 3 separate pieces. I definitely think that Postpartum it would have been perfect and I like that it can adjust as you shift. I’m currently 4 months Postpartum and needing support for a ventral hernia. It’s almost too much back support for my day to day at this point because I’ve lost weight and I have a bigger baby. But today I used my spanx paired with the bottom piece and it face me incredible Support. What I like better about this than the binder my doctor prescribed is it can tighten and lift up, so it gives me more support in this kind of hernia plus recovery from c-section. I’m having surgery again for the hernia, so I plan to use three pieces once that happens for a safe recovery. I don’t think I can say enough positive things about this waist support (postpartum belly wrap)! I purchased this not for the reason it is completely sold for, but after looking through so many this seemed the best solution for me. Quality and support I was looking for. I had a hysterectomy, abdominal mass/size of a tennis ball cut out and a umbilical plasty all at the same time. So recovering looked a bit different for me than just a hysterectomy. I have a one site davinci hysterectomy but being the mass was so large I was eventually cut open vertically from the top of my belly button to my pubic Reston almost. I already have lots of medical stuff going on (many autoimmune) therefore internal support wasn’t allowed on my as my body would attract any foreign material. (ie..mesh) therefore I was stitched up with permanent internal sutures. My body needs support longer than the average 2 weeks recommend and told I need to wear abdominal support for min 4 weeks but possibly 8 weeks. Until all healing is completed. I’ve been an athlete most my life and still fear after recovery I will need additional support. I’m 2 weeks out now and the medical waist band I was sent home with just wasn’t cutting it. I needed more support and imo higher and lower support (which this being three pieces, makes using it ideal for lots of situations). It has a belly support, waist support and a pelvis support. I have all three on but you can decide the width distance for each. Or just wear one. I love that. I had to write a review as it has been amazing so far. I only have had it for one day total. I wore it all of yesterday and through the night and starting today and the support it has provided is top notch. I’m so happy I selected this one and reading the reviews helped me decide. I wanted the cream/nude one, but shipping was going to take a few days longer and this one was next day! So because I wanted it immediately I went with the black. I now will go and buy the nude as well. It’s perfect for all day/night wear. It’s great for walking my dog. I cough from time to time. This stops all stress on my abdomen. I hurt way less. I wore my medical hospital one in the evening and woke up with such back pain. I didn’t have the same pain when I got up this morning. It supports but doesn’t over stress one area. I’m eager to train again in the gym and will be bringing this with me. I wish I would of had this right out of surgery. I think it would of helped a ton. I was grossly swollen and looked like I was 6 months pregnant. I have 5 kids and know what it feels/ looks like to be pregnant. I’m not postpartum yet but this binder is a literal lifesaver for me right now. I am pregnant and have multiple large fibroids. The only thing that helps, besides pain meds, is splinting something really tightly against the painful areas. This binder come in handy bc it has 3 parts, helps with back support and pelvic support plus you can adjust the Velcro tightness and there’s belts to make it even tighter if you need need to. This is been such a lifesaver for me! The 3 separate belts can look overwhelming at first but they’re marked by section and really easy to put on after practicing the first couple times. I have a short torso but can still use all 3 belts by layering them, if i need to, or i can opt out of 1 or 2 of them if i want. I’m so thankful for this binder. Without it I would be self-medicating so much more and being pregnant, i don’t wanna do that. Highly recommend and look forward to wearing it postpartum as well. ... show more

I got one with each pregnancy and they offer good support, but they were only comfortable over my pants. I keeps so much that I was constantly taking it off. Otherwise, the color and quality was good.
