I ordered this to help clean my hot tub. The package includes multiple, well made. attachments for various surfaces that are encountered in most hot tubs. Easy to assemble and operate, I found the lack of an on/off switch to be confusing, at first - then I read the instructions! Low and behold, it turns on simply by immersing the pump under water! Suction seems to be sufficient to complete the task and the assorted attachments worked well. I can't say how the device would work on larger, above ground pools, but it should be sufficient on smaller ones, especially those pesky blow-ups for children. ... show more

If you know how power mops work on your kitchen floor, you have an idea of how this small but very useful vacuum works. The assembly process is easy and quite straightforward. I charged it over the night before the first use. Since my pool has been opened recently timing could not be better. This device is not really designed for large inground pools, but I have an adequate solution for the task. What it can't do - is collect small debris, sand, and dirt from the pool steps and around tight corners. And for this task, this small handheld is almost perfect. You could easily navigate it around the shallow part of the pool, suction power is strong enough to collect dirt and sand from the bottom. There are three attachments to match your walls and steps. Used it only a couple of times and was very happy with the results. The only critique that comes to mind - the device has no power button, as soon as the whole body is submerged, the pump starts and filters collected water. Unfortunately, it does not work well for the top two steps, i have to almost lay it down into the water to clean up very shallow areas. The media could not be loaded. Comes in a surprisingly small box but has EVERYTHING you need right assemble. So far the suction works great in my 8ft above ground pool. Love that it’s cordless and rechargeable. Convenient and comes in handy!
